  I’m honestly shocked by the pricing at Rowan. It ended up being close to $300 to get a pair of ears pierced. The $35 per ear piercing fee makes sense to me, but then having to spend around $200 on a pair of earrings that will likely never be worn again seems excessive. Maybe this is just Naperville pricing, but I wanted to give other parents a heads-up if you’re considering bringing your child here. There are highly rated professional piercing and tattoo studios where experienced piercers use a needle—not a piercing gun—for around $90 for both ears, including titanium jewelry. For the price Rowan charges, I also expected a much better jewelry selection. Unless you’re shopping for a very young child, the options felt extremely limited. The experience itself may be convenient and kid-friendly, but in my opinion, the overall cost simply isn’t justified for what you get.

  Alex was awesome! She made me feel calm, and did a great job with my piercing! I definitely recommend her for your piercings! I’m already thinking about getting my next one with her :)

  Had a wonderful experience with Leslie as she pierced daughter’s helix and niece’s earlobes. Leslie was very informative and helped us decide the best option for each of the piercings. We really appreciated her patience and professionalism. The location is very clean and although smaller compared to the Oakbrook location this does not change my recommendation to come here.

  I am shocked by my experience today since I’ve only heard great things about Rowan. My daughter is 5. They didn’t have enough nurses to do her ears at the same time which I was a little surprised about but I figured we would manage. My daughter cried after the piercings. All three workers rolled their eyes. As I held my 5 year old child and encouraged her with no support of the staff, I grabbed her a sucker from their little sucker bin. The worker took the bin after I helped myself and put it far away. As if I was going to steal them all or something. It was so bizarre. I never write reviews but I will definitely not be bringing my other daughter here when she’s older. Bummer for sure.
