  My mom and I had the time of our life here for her 77th birthday! I’m visiting from San Francisco and this salon is so posh like the ones back in Cali! I went on the website and researched their talent and the stylist Jean was my top pick due to her experience and expertise. My mom had very course box dyed hair and it really needed some extra TLC! I hope to help my mom every month become a new client of Jean’s! She is just fabulous! Overall I was so impressed with this salon and everyone who works here seems wonderful! I can’t believe what a gem I found in Gurnee, IL! I’m so grateful! 🙏

  I made an appointment with Jordan to have my hair done when my hair stylist went mia. It was my first time meeting and having Jordan do my hair, and she was wonderful! Definitely coming back

  I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dawn Roberts at Salon Bliss! For my birthday, I decided I was ready for a big change. I trusted Dawn completely to guide me on both the color and a shorter haircut—something I had never done before—and she exceeded every expectation. There is a reason she is known as a Goldwell Master Colorist. Her knowledge, skill, and artistry are truly exceptional. From the consultation to the final result, I felt completely confident that she was recommending what would look best on me while also protecting the health and integrity of my hair. What impressed me most was her expertise with my hair texture. As someone with naturally curly hair, it is incredibly important to me that a stylist understands not only how to create a beautiful finished style, but also how to preserve the health of my curls. Dawn took the time to assess my hair, explain her recommendations, and make decisions that prioritized both beauty and hair health. The real test came when I washed my hair at home. My curls bounced right back, remained healthy, and felt just as strong as before my appointment. Anyone with textured or curly hair knows how important that is. It showed me that Dawn truly understands hair beyond just the final salon look.   Wish this place felt more welcoming and that they didn’t rush. It took 15 min for someone to finally greet me for one, for two I was promised a specific price and I was happy about that. When it was time to pay, it ended up being almost 150$ more even though I never asked for any special services. I had to come back the next day for them to fix my hair because when she gave me high lights it looked great UNTIL I put my hair up in a pony tail. Huge lines showing. It was so bad! My hair is so damaged now and I’m beyond upset. Very nice girl that did my hair but other than that. I will not be returning due to the quality. Better places out there.

  I went to salon bliss and it was terrible I payed $300 for what I got done that day which should have been a simple root touch up and then highlights all over to lighten but they put me with a stylist that was still learning without my knowledge and then I was left with darker hair then when I came in, also the girls beside be snickered and said “omg here goes another one trying to be blonde”….i asked to talk to the manager I only wanted to have a correction made because I was not leaving with what I asked for , and you can tell they care more about money then customers, they asked me to pay another 300 to fix what they had done and I was so upset , so I left after paying her the bill. It was terrible the worst service ever they were so rude and in kind, and to think that they talk about customers like that and don’t even care to think how they are ruining your hair and wasting your hard earned money. They be in a nicer neighborhood but you get low quality services and attitudes and no compassion or customer service.
