I scheduled an appointment for a 50 minute massage on a Saturday morning. I arrived 15 minutes ahead of my scheduled appointment, per the schedule policy ion arrival, the door was locked with no one at the receptionist desk. I called and nobody answered. I had to wait outside for 5 minutes until someone finally came to the front area. The ambiance was alright. The lobby could have a more warm, welcoming feel to it. Also, the rooms are separated by curtain like fabrics so was a little distracted by noise from other patrons. The massage itself was wonderful. Crystal was super polite and very communicative. She ensured that I would receive all necessary services per my liking. Hands of gold! I would recommend.

I really have enjoyed both of my experiences here so far! I did a prenatal massage back last year with Tieriney which was awesome!. I just got cleared to go back now that I am postpartum so today I got an 80 minute healer massage by Jacob. It was amazing! It was exactly what I needed. Once I can afford a membership I will be there consistently.

Here’s a clear, composed version that keeps your experience intact while making it land effectively for a public review: I had an extremely unsettling experience at The NOW Massage South Loop and ended my service just 8 minutes after it began. From the start, the therapist arrived late and appeared visibly upset or angry, which immediately felt jarring and uncomfortable. Her demeanor was harsh, unwelcoming, and completely misaligned with the calming experience I expected. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt and even offered light, gentle feedback to ease the tension, but her response was dismissive and defensive. As the session began, her tone remained aggressive and felt more like being reprimanded than cared for. When I misunderstood an instruction, she responded in a way that felt scolding and inappropriate. At that point, I was too uncomfortable to relax or continue, so I politely asked to end the session. Only then did her tone shift, and she apologized, asking multiple times for another chance. However, I had already given several opportunities for the interaction to reset, and I chose to leave. At the front desk, the response was equally disappointing. There was no empathy, acknowledgment, or attempt to resolve the situation. I was simply asked to confirm I was ending early, told that the therapist was considered their “top therapist,” and informed a manager would follow up. I left feeling dismissed, unsettled, and honestly shocked by the lack of care shown. I receive massages regularly and have never had an experience like this. What was most disappointing wasn’t just the interaction with the therapist, but how little regard was shown for me as a customer when I raised a concern. “Therapist” — Jennifer Receptionist - Betty (needs additional training)
