The massages are always such a great reset, the atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, and the staff has consistently been wonderful, welcoming, and professional. I recently had one visit that wasn’t quite up to the standard I’m used to, but I have to give a huge shoutout to Natalie, the manager. She personally called me, listened to my feedback, talked everything through with me, and was incredibly kind, understanding, and professional. Her follow-through was amazing, and I really appreciated how much she genuinely cared about my experience. One less-than-perfect visit definitely doesn’t change how much I enjoy coming here. If anything, the way Natalie handled everything made me appreciate The NOW even more. Great customer service really shows in how a business responds when something doesn’t go perfectly, and she handled it beautifully. I’ll absolutely continue coming back for massages here. The team is awesome, the space is always relaxing, and they are very lucky to have Natalie as a manager. Highly recommend!

You begin to feel relaxed as soon as you walk into their entry area, and after a brief pre-massage check-in with your therapist, you enter another world, with canvas curtains, rattan globes, and the soothing sounds of ocean waves - leaving the city far behind. Afterwards I always feel refreshed & revitalized, wondering why I don’t visit more frequently - which I definite will going forward. Highly recommend!

I just received that service today and it was night and day compared to my previous experience. I received the best massage I’ve ever had from Taras. He was thorough and intentional. The pressure was consistently deep and he paid plenty of attention to the areas I outlined. Thank you so much to The NOW for making this right. I recommend Taras for anyone looking for true deep tissue massage. Original review: I’ve been here twice. My first experience with Eden was wonderful. I wish I would have booked her again, because my second experience with Marla was not good. I booked the 80 minute STRETCH with deep tissue. As is mentioned in another review, Marla did not at all honor the “deep tissue” add-on that I paid for. It was more like she was applying lotion than a massage. Nothing about this was an “athletic” massage. She didn’t really focus on any particular muscle group and instead only used her entire palm up and down my back repeatedly. As the massage went on the pressure (which was already light) continued to dissipate until I finally had to verbally correct her at which point we only had 10-15 minutes remaining. Although, I mentioned my traps are primarily what I was there to address, she spent maybe 10-12 minutes on them during the entire 80 minute session. Her approach to my back overall was just repeating the same 2-3 patterns again and again for 40 minutes. She spent at least 30 mins essentially applying oil to my feet and calves which were areas I didn’t even mention. There was no “stretch” in the STRETCH massage at all. The similarities between this and the other review describing The NOW they received from Marla confirms she does the same thing no matter what you book and what preferences you state. If you book here, do so with one of the providers mentioned here by name.

The NOW has reimagined the approachable luxury of a neighborhood spa with high-quality massages and exclusive enhancements that offer relaxation and healing. Our goal is to offer customizable massage services without the time commitment and cost of a traditional spa.
When should I arrive for my massage?
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled massage to permit ample time for check-in. As a courtesy to other members and guests, we must start and end each massage service at the scheduled time; accordingly, we will not be able to extend the time of your service if you arrive late.
How do I book a massage?
You can schedule an appointment online at www.thenowmassage.com, through The NOW Massage app, or by contacting the boutique directly by phone. We also welcome walk-ins, but due to high demand, we recommend scheduling in advance.
How do I cancel a service that I’ve scheduled?
A booked massage can be canceled by logging into your account on the website, through The NOW Massage app, or by calling the boutique. Please be aware of our late cancellation policy. We respectfully request at least 12 hours notice if you need to cancel or rebook your massage appointment. We charge 50% of the reservation made to the credit card on file to compensate our staff for missed wages when there is a last minute cancellation.
What if I fail to show for a scheduled massage or arrive late?
If you miss your appointment or arrive 15 minutes past your scheduled service start time, the service is automatically canceled and the full price of the scheduled service is charged to the credit card on file. To ensure a relaxing experience, and get the full benefits of the massage, we advise guests to arrive on time (or early) for all scheduled appointments.
How can I cancel my membership?
Ritual Members can cancel their recurring dues membership at any time by providing their boutique with 30-days written notice stating the desire to cancel. You may cancel in-person at the boutique or by sending an email to the boutique where your membership was purchased. All boutique contact information can be found under the locations page on our website.
Note: In states where required by applicable law, in addition to the above, you can also choose to cancel your membership through choosing the cancellation option on your membership profile online.
How long do I have to use massage credits?
Membership credits can accrue indefinitely until a Ritual Membership is canceled. Unused massage credits will continue to accrue (i.e., roll-over month-to-month) as long as your membership remains in place. You will have 3 months from the date of cancellation to use any unused massage credits before they expire. No refunds are issued for unused credits.
Can I freeze my membership?
The freeze policy allows you to temporarily suspend your Ritual Membership in accordance with the following terms: You may freeze your membership up to three(3) months per contractual year. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
Do you accept gift cards?
Yes, we accept gift cards for The NOW Massage services and products. Gift card terms and conditions do apply. For more details on our gift card program, please refer to our Terms of Service.
Do you permit minors to use services?
Yes, unless the state, province or territory prohibit it by law, The NOW Massage makes services available to minors between the ages of 13 and 17. What if I’m not feeling well?
If you are feeling sick or unwell prior to the start of your scheduled massage, we encourage you to stay home. The NOW Massage boutique is an open-space concept and keeping guests and team members safe is everyone’s responsibility. If you begin to feel sick during your treatment, please let your Massage therapist know immediately.
What is the NOW's policy related to cell phone use at the boutique?
We aim to create a safe and relaxing environment for our members and guests. The tranquility offered within our space is paramount. Cell phones can be disruptive and are not encouraged. Although we do allow cell phones at the boutique, we require that the phones be turned off or switched to silent mode upon check-in.
Can I return purchased items?
Yes, if you’ve purchased items in a boutique, we accept returns in original condition (unused, undamaged and unopened in the original packaging) within seven days from the date of purchase. All items purchased in a boutique are only eligible for return or exchange in the same location it was purchased. Because jewelry is made-to-order, jewelry is eligible for exchange only.
If you’ve purchased items online – through The NOW’s website – we accept returns in original conditions (unused, undamaged and unopened in original packaging) provided you first obtain a return authorization number, which you can request by emailing shop@thenowmassage.com. The return authorization number must be written clearly on the outside of the box. Return and exchange shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and the original shipping charge is nonrefundable.
