  We went during the day on Wednesday August 26, 2026 when they were listed open online. My friend and I arrive there, lights are completely on but nobody was inside. The door was locked, so we knocked on the door because every light was on, no one responded so we resumed shopping at Aritzia, hour later, knocked again and no response at all. No one picked up the phone when we called three separate times. No “we’re on a break” or “closed for the day” sign. The website still allowed you to make appointments during the time we were knocking on the door.

  came in for laufey day and got my ears pierced with my mom so we can get the special bag. and then when we're done it's gone because they sell it to people who get the jewelry. didn't even put one aside. 200 dollars for what. I know for a fact they send 2 grown adults with the bags but not a mom and her kid. Piercing job was great but we were told we were set for the bag and left with no bag.

  I have actually been here twice this year. Once in January (made an appointment in advance) to get my doubles redone (got them done as a teen at Claire’s and felt they weren’t even with my original lobes) and then also got my third lobes done too. Lauren did my piercings in January and she was amazing and so friendly. I believe she moved to the newer Wilmette location. I came back yesterday (same day sort of last minute appointment) with a friend and we both got two piercings done by Yori who was so kind, and has an amazing ear stack on herself! We were both nervous but she has such gentle, magical hands I barely felt anything. I got my left conch and a flat helix on my right ear. My friend also got a left conch and a stacked lobe on her right ear. I have loved my experiences with Studs this year. The shops are super clean and organized. Staff is so friendly, welcoming and patient. I love that they only pierce with needles. As someone with metal allergies I’m so thankful they have 14k gold options not just for piercing but additional purchases as well. I did recently learn I tolerate titanium well. No other metals. Studs will be seeing many orders from me in the future as they have so many cute earrings. I haven’t been to the other locations in IL but I would hope they are all up to the same standards and would feel comfortable going in any of them. Highly recommend Studs for all ear piercing needs.

  Great staff and great environment! The front staff is very friendly and welcoming, and my piercer, Grace, was very knowledgeable, patient, and insightful. I've had 3 piercings done by Grace so far. 10/10 would highly recommend them-- super cool person!

  Got my helix today, it was an amazing experience!!!!! Everyone was so sweet and helpful. The jewellery is BEAUTIFUL. I mixed and matched a bunch and wasn't rushed, but was very patiently helped. Also, Chloe is the best piercer ever, didn't even feel the pain. And thank you so much for staying late to complete my piercing and jewelry change. Coming back the very second this heals!!
