  A month later, I still hesitated to post this review because the owner seemed to have good intentions. However, the services for loc maintenance were extremely poor. The lack of care and attention to detail left me unsettled. I’ve had locs for over 17 years and this was not a pleasant experience with returning to a salon after 8 years of self upkeep. And to solidify me not returning as a customer, nearly 4 inches of my hair were chopped in a rushed “trim” job. I did receive an apology after explaining the situation but I honestly don’t want another customer to feel the way I did walking out.

  This is my 3rd time using this salon and the service and customer service have been consistent. Superb! From the booking process until the last braid, everything was done professionally and with care. I am extremely pleased and would definitely come back again. I strongly recommend! Both my daughter (teenager) and I love this place!

  I found this lady on tik tok I asked her could she do a sew/in with a frontal she told me yes. I sent a few pictures only one she said she could do when I got there we talked and laughed. When she started on my hair first off she didn’t put the stocking cap on right then she started sewing the bundles it went all wrong. She could not do the style I wanted then tells me if I wanted a style and cut to go to a regular salon. Mind you nothing about her shop said anything about African braids it said weave. She tells me I owe her $265.00 nothing about what she did adds up to that price it’s not even worth $100.00 my first and last time going to that shop I was lied to then scammed out of my money.

  Very unprofessional. She is clearly a busy person. She initially requested to reschedule my appointment time from 10 am to 1pm because she had a doctor's appointment. That was fine by me. When I got there at 1pm, she was on a phone call and also had a body sculpting rep waiting to meet with her at 1pm as well. She never greeted me, just motioned for me to sit in her chair. Once she was off her phone call, she began her meeting with the body sculpting rep. Im patiently waiting in her chair, wondering when/if she is going to acknowledge me or do my hair. She then interrupts her meeting to quickly wash my hair and partially blow my hair out. She makes no attempt to detangle my hair, just brushes through it with her blow dryer. I have 4c hair, you do not just brush through 4c hair without detangling... With partially dry hair, she then tells me she is going to finish her meeting with the reps and wants me to just sit and wait. I waited 10 minutes and then left. I dont know why she would reschedule my apt at 1pm if she already had another appointment. Its extremely rude to ask your paying customer to wait idle as if I dont have other things to do with my time. To top it off, she did not clean my scalp when washing my hair. I had to go home and rewash my hair. She never reached out to apologize. Clearly she is too busy to care about her customers experience.

  Stella and all the women who work in the salon are so incredibly talented, kind, patient, and polite. This was my first time there and I will be coming back. The salon is very nice and clean, they took me right on time. They offered wifi, free snacks, water, and coffee. The experience was very very nice and I’m so happy I came. I got knotless, waist length boho goddess braids and they came out exactly how I wanted them to.
