Came in today to exchange a product. nobody approached me or my mother to ask if we needed help with anyone or if we needed anything. there was about 10 employees everywhere and not once did any of them approach us for anything. Went into look at the rode beauty makeup and some employee with dyed hair was in the drawers doing something and i asked said excuse me to grab a blush and she didn’t move or even acknowledge me i didn’t even grab what i wanted because i was uncomfortable. then when i went to exchange i had a couple things and the cashier didn’t even offer me a bag for my items. just left it on the counter and i had to put the stuff in my purse. My mother said when we walked out there was bags behind the counter. Disappointing because this isn’t the first time i’ve experienced this. This is the closest sephora to me and every time i come it’s always the same unwelcoming experience. Nobody ever asks if we need help or nothing. I have a cousin who works at a different location and says they are suppose to approach and be annoying because if not they get in trouble. So i dont know the issue with this location.

Just went in on 8/3/2026 at 11:45. A sales associate with red highlights was incredibly rude and attacked my character. When I went to return a perfume sampler, she told me it was a one time purchase which was not disclosed to me at the time of the purchase. When I let her know that it would be helpful to disclose information at the checkout counter, verbatim she stated “A lots disclosed at the counter, I’m sure it’s a memory thing and the sales associate did tell you.” I’m appalled and really liked this location and have not had this experience at all until today.
Jackie at the Clark St., Lincoln Park, location was seriously the sweetest!!!!! 🥹 She helped me pick out lashes and took so much time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. She was patient, thoughtful, and genuinely wanted to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for <3. You can tell she truly cares about her customers, and her kindness made my whole day. She is such a light and honestly an angel. Thank you so much, Jackie, for making my Sephora experience so special, I can’t wait to come back and shop with you again! 🤸♂️🩵🫶

great store experience! shoutout to marlini for helping me with foundation/concealer match :) she was very nice, patient and took the time to help me out
I don’t usually leave reviews, but I walked out of this store feeling so uncomfortable that I felt like I had to say something.
Right from the start, the vibe was off. I noticed other customers getting greeted as they walked in, but no one even acknowledged me. A few minutes later, an employee started following me around the store. When she finally came up to me and asked if I needed help, I asked where a product was. After I found it, I asked her twice if they had a specific shade, but she completely ignored my questions both times.
Then a tall blonde employee standing quite a few steps behind me finally answered my question, but it was in a really rude and dismissive tone. Because they were standing so far behind me, I didn't even realize they were talking to me at first.
The whole experience just felt incredibly unwelcoming and awkward. I left the store feeling dismissed, and honestly, nobody should be made to feel that way just trying to shop.
