  I’ve been lucky enough to have Bob and Jenna as premiere stylists for my family for more than a few decades. Sarah has been my color pro for more than a decade. The entire team, led by Maxine herself, create a place that is quintessential Chicago—approachable, lovely, thoughtful, and tucked away steps from The Magnificent Mile. You’ll always be greeted with warmth and joy from Rick, Carlos and Demi. What a fabulous place you can trust to get just the right color, up-dos, blowouts, and style. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommended. The best in Chicago. Photo is from my wedding 26 yrs ago — updo was done at Maxine’s. 💕

  Amazing all the time. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. This is the best salon. Lorena does my color and Raven does my cut… I get compliments on both constantly!

  my fist visit prior to a wedding. great salon, spacious and talented respectful stylists. I had a great experience with Addison who did my blow dry. My hair style lasted for a good 3 days and i loved the feel of my hair after it.

  Shelly is an expert at what she does. I came in with a very vague idea for a haircut and a head of thick, 3B Afro curly hair that was overly dried. Not only did she give me a princess diaries level transformation, but she taught me how to keep my heat-styled hair hydrated and healthy. As a straight natural that has made a big impact for me. This was my second time seeing her for a hair trim and I will keep seeing her for the foreseeable future.
