  Generally not a bad experience, but overpriced for what it was. A whole group of corporate-type people were sitting and chatting loudly in what was supposed to be the quiet lounge area to await your appointment in. It was uncomfortable to be in a robe while they were in plain-clothes with their phones out. My therapist also walked right past me because of this and there was chaos while they were searching for me and I was sitting right where they asked me to sit for my service. After that, the service was just okay. The amenities were nice -- the heated lounge chairs were unique and nice. The pool area is shared with general hotel guests, so it's more splashing children than relaxed spa vibes. Finally, they added an automatic tip of around 28% without warning. I was planning on tipping, but not that much (especially for a mid-level service) and they should've included a warning about that increase in the listed pricing.

  The facilities are stunning and well-appointed with a steam room, two saunas, hot tub and pool. I LOVED my massage with Leslie and felt very enthusiastic after that, so when my facial rolled around I gladly agreed to the upgrades she was suggesting. That was mistake. The facial ended up being a complete waste of money. I didn't feel like my skin looked or felt any different afterwards, the massage felt like a baby kitten pressing it's paw against my back, and it ended up costing $500. They automatically added a 23.5% service fee, and parking was $30. So $1000 later, came home disappointed and stressed. **Langham reached out to me and apologized for my experience and offered to have me come back for another facial with another aesthetician.

  A nice spa, but for the price, they missed the mark on the small details! My husband booked me a massage here for a belated Mother’s Day gift (first Mother’s Day!) He was going to be in Chicago for work and we decided I’d meet him out here and we’d make a weekend out of it. First issue - I called about 1.5 weeks before to adjust my service since my husband booked the massage. No answer, so I left a voicemail (I was told from the voicemail they’re get back in 24 hours). I waited 2 days and didn’t hear back, so I called again and was able to speak with someone on the phone. I adjusted my service. When I got there in person a week later, they hadn’t actually adjusted my service. A little annoying but the massage therapist adjusted on the fly which I appreciated. The massage itself was nice but if I’m being honest, I’ve had better. I was put in a very large room that was meant for a couples massage. It was a little bright for a massage but benefit of the doubt - it’s a large high rise in a big city so no big deal. After my massage I wanted to get some lunch by the pool (which was advertised by the attendant as something you should do). There were no staff walking around the pool so I went to the spa front desk and asked if I could order and she said she’d send someone out. 20 minutes pass and no one comes to take my order so I go back to the front desk and order there (no apologies from the same person that said she’d send someone btw). Food comes out and part of what I ordered was a sparkling water with my meal and they gave me still. Not a huge deal except they had still water all over the spa. I wouldn’t have ordered a $9 bottle of water with all the water they offered. So I went back up to the front desk just for let them know of the mistake and ask that they wouldn’t charge me. They took it off the bill which I appreciate. All in all, for a luxury spa and luxury prices, I just felt they missed the mark in a few areas. I kind of felt like a bother continuing to have to go to the front desk to ask for things. It was still a good experience and treatment overall but I’d say they could improve on customer experience - especially for the price
