I accompanied a friend to her appointment at Style and Grace a couple weeks ago and what I witnessed was enough for us to never return. While my friend got her hair done, I sat in the waiting area and was close enough to the reception desk that I could overhear their conversations. While I was waiting, a stylist walked up to one of the receptionists and asked her to schedule an appointment. The receptionist attempted to schedule the appointment and told the stylist that she could not schedule it because something was wrong with the system. The stylist asked the receptionist to try again, and she seemed to be already getting irritated. The receptionist said she couldn’t schedule the appointment and the stylist turned to one of the other girls behind the desk and said “can you help me schedule this because she obviously doesn’t know what she’s doing.” The look on the poor receptionist’s face was awful and I felt terribly bad for her. If this is how the stylists treat their own coworkers to their face, I can’t imagine what they say about their clients behind their backs. My friend and I will not be returning.

Amazing!! I have gotten an array of services done here at style and grace and each technician I have been with has been very knowledgeable, kind, and made my experience great! I have only gotten esthetics and hair services done here but i cannot wait to explore more, truly if you need a new full service salon and spa i cannot recommend style and grace enough!

I'm only visiting, i don't live here, but i was not impressed with the staff or service. For the price, high prices, their staff should be better trained, and more courteous. I don't think I'll be back when i return to Champaign.

I went in for the first time in 9 months after becoming a new mom hoping to have this wonderful hair transformation and to feel more like myself again. I was so excited. I brought inspo pictures and everything! But I left completely unhappy for several reasons.
1. The color block bangs I wanted, I didn’t get. The hairstylist made me feel awkward about my choice by questioning me so hard about the color block style that I just caved and went with what she suggested.
2. The cut was awful. It’s still totally and noticeably uneven a month later. Again, the hairstylist made me feel uncomfortable about my pick. I wanted a very shaggy cut with short layers and she totally didn’t get it. She said you realize this will be a pixie cut up front, right? Which scared me because that’s not at all what I was showing her.
3. My little hairs by my ears is fried. I need to cut them because they are just fried so bad from the bleach.
I feel like all I can do is wear my hair up to hide it now. I tried to give it time to see if it would grow on me… but it hasn’t. I felt so sad because this was supposed to be a treat for me postpartum finally doing something for just myself and I left feeling so sad. I regret going here and would not recommend anyone going here for hair services.
