  I've had several appointments at triccoci and service has been hit or miss. I have naturally wavy hair and often leaving the salon feeling like I didn't get what I wanted and that the stylist blatantly ignored what I asked. My most recent cut was about a week ago with Carmen. I've had two cuts with her and both were disasters. In this most recent cut, she started late and only after I asked the front desk about my haircut, citing I only had an hour to give and it was already 15 minutes late. She told the person washing my hair to not condition it because she was running late. She made an excuse that she didn't know I was on her schedule. She wrote me off when I told her what I wanted and I proceeded to get the worst haircut I've ever gotten. She argued with me when I corrected what she was doing and tried to tell me I was not being clear on what I wanted, even though I brought pictures for inspiration and explicitly told her what I wanted. In the end, I had an undercut on my hair that I didn't ask for and my hair looks horrible. I'm going to another salon to try to get it fixed and I won't be back to triccoci.

  Ngl just a more expensive great cuts. Shampoo and conditioner smells like box hair dye. Water was warm and they did cut my hair (just not how I explained and showed pictures of). No mid cut check ins. Not a curly hair specialist place. 2/5

  I have been going to Sarah Anne for years. I have never been disappointed. Always on time, consummate professional, always pays attention to my ideas, always honing her skill.......thank you, Sarah, for being such a great stylist and person.

  I typically go to a different salon in the area but have gotten my hair cut occasionally at Tricoci if I needed a last minute appointment and I also used to come here when I was younger. I have never been charged extra for the length or style of my hair at Tricoci or any other salon, but yesterday when I arrived I was told due to the length and curly texture of my hair it would be considered a “luxe” haircut and blowout and an additional $30 charge making it a $130 service if I wanted to leave with it blown out and not curly and was also told they might not have time to blow it out. I have never left a haircut with my hair curly and have never been told there was no time to blow it out. I already thought $100 was on the high end compared to what I am used to so I said I would just leave if it was going to cost that much but the stylist agreed to give me the price that I booked and blow it out, which I appreciated. Also want to note that my hair was the shortest it’s been in about 12 years when I walked in yesterday. I called today to find out if this is a new policy because every hair cut and blow dry I have ever gotten takes less than an hour and I have never been told that they don’t have time to blow dry and have never been charged extra. I was told that pricing is up to the discretion of the stylist and that yesterday they added a note in my file that all future cuts will be considered luxe. This is so off putting and disappointing although I enjoyed the cut and blow dry yesterday but will not be returning due to this experience and the unexpected nickle and diming at a high end salon. *I reached out to the email address below and they said they would call me two weeks ago and no one ever did.
