Botox® and Dysport® are safe, purified, FDA-approved proteins that relax(es) and soften(s) the muscles responsible for causing frown lines, creases between the brows, around the eyes (crow’s feet), and worry lines in the forehead. Years of muscle use in our faces—from smiling, squinting, stressing—create what begin as fine lines, and deepen over time. Botox® and Dysport® can heal that dermal cracking or can be used preventatively to help deter their deepening.

Dermal Fillers are a gel like product made up of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring carbohydrate found in our bodies that can hold up to 1000x their weight in water. As we age, we lose hyaluronic acid, collagen, and elastin. Loss of hyaluronic acid in aging skin is partially responsible for the formation of lines and wrinkles.
Dermal fillers can replace the skin’s hyaluronic acid and fill in and lift areas of the face that may be less full, without the cost, recovery or downtime of plastic surgery.
Common areas to treat for lost volume are the cheeks, under eyes, nasolabial folds (lines between the corner of the nose and corner of the mouth), marionette lines (downward turn of the mouth/creases at the corner of the mouth), perioral lines (lip lines, lines around the mouth), and more. Dermal fillers can also be used to augment and enhance lips.

I have had two hydrafacials in the past and felt they were overpriced and underwhelming—more like a basic, overpriced old-school microdermabrasion. That was not the case here.
Janae walked me through everything she was doing, it was clear that she understands the treatment on a deeper level—not just the basics. She wasn’t on autopilot whatsoever. She made appropriate setting adjustments specific to my skin concerns as she performed the facial, which she explained as she performed the facial. Her thorough technique resulted in a fantastic result! Janae is an absolute gem!
I often feel anxious going into services like this because of unclear pricing, surprise add-ons and upselling attempts, but that wasn’t the case here at all. All of Refined Aesthetics services and pricing is clearly laid out online. There were no surprises. I paid a fair price for a great service! That level of honesty made the entire experience much more comfortable.
I bought several products that I thankfully was NOT pressured into buying. There was a problem with one of the products freshness. After making a phone call as soon as I opened it, all was rectified with ease! Thank you staff!
If I lived in Sandpoint, this med spa would absolutely be my go-to because they are fair and offer quality!

Refined Aesthetics + Wellness is the perfect place to go for facial treatments. Today I had my first Hydrafacial treatment.
From the moment I walked through their door I knew I was in good hands. The atmosphere was great, the greeting was warm and welcoming, the consultation left me feeling confident I was truly in good hands and to my pleasant surprise I was able to get in a few hours later. Janae was my Esthetician. She was awesome. She explained everything she was doing as she went along. My face has never felt so smooth and hydrated! I am so glad I went! It was well worth the price. I highly recommend Refined Aesthetics and their team! 😊
