- RHRobert Hughes4 days ago1.0I was told they would honor a coupon until after the haircut and then said it didn't work. I had to have someone else pay for it because I had a limited supply of cash on me. I think it's sad that they can't tell you if a coupon works before you drive over there. And in this case when I arrived they said it would work but they decided to rip me off. Luckily I went with someone else who had her bank car or I wouldn't have paid for it. Bad business to say the least. Obviously nobody knows what is going on over there and there are hundreds of coupons online and apparently none of them even work locally in Idaho falls and furthermore nobody in the shop knows if they work despite working there all day long and dealing with hundreds of coupons a day. I think I should get a free haircut for the embarrassment. If they would have said that the coupon didn't work I would have come back later or just went elsewhere. You can get a haircut in California for $8 why is it $18 here?

My stylist either did not understand what I wanted or has very little experience with women's hair. It is way to short, many people say I look like a boy who needs a haircut which is very upsetting. Not only was the haircut terrible but the customer service was awful, my stylist did not tell me her name otherwise id name her in this post. She has long black hair and a terrible attitude. She seemed like she hates her job, she asked maybe 4 questions then complete silence. The whole experience with her was uncomfortable and I felt unwelcome. I will never come back and warn others to stay away unless they want the worst haircut in their life. DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERR

Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
