  I've gone to Nicole at the JC Penny in McDonough for the third time now. I wanted to make sure I had multiple experiences with her before writing my review. First off, just know my hair was DAMAGED badly and shedding prior to Nicole working her magic on me. I also experienced major heat damage from going to a few different Dominican salon right here in McDonough. My first visit included a rinse to cover my pesky gray hair, highlights, deep condition and silk press and a major cut. I was lowkey annoyed at how much hair was on the floor, but it was damaged and needed to be cut. It was not cheap, but you get what you pay for, and Nicole is a licensed hair stylist. The next time, i went it was a wash, conditioning treatment and rod set. The following week i washed my own hair for the first time and was shocked at how my hair was full of curls and not shedding as it had been doing previously. I didn't have any long straight pieces and my hair once again was nice and thick. If you are looking for a license colorist and someone who is going to treat your hair and get it healthy, go ahead and give Nicole a try. Tell her TammiJ sent you.

  Wouldn’t know, they stood me up. I made an appointment online with Doreen. I showed up and she said she could not do my hair...she had clients who she was still working on and didn’t try to reschedule or anything. I get completely dismissed. I wish she would have called before I made plans and ruined my afternoon. I have been there before and Deborah and Kayla do great hair, I will just call and book with them if I ever go back. I do not plan to ever go back right now.
