  I usually don't write reviews, but my daughter left the salon crying because she didn't have a good experience yesterday at JCPenny's hair salon. Michelle did my daughter's hair and she was rude and unprofessional. My daughter got a basic blow dry, because we we're going to braid her hair later on. Someone from the salon called me a few hours before her appointment and asked if she could come in early and that she would be assigned to a different stylist than the one I booked online. When we got there, the lady said that we were early, as if it were a problem, she then let Michelle know that her client was here, she looked at us and frowned. For whatever reason, Michelle left out of the salon several times, while doing my daughter's hair, she passed by me and went to the restroom where I was sitting and don't think that she washed her hands after leaving out. My daughter said that Michelle kept burning her with the blow dryer while drying her hair, and then she kept asking my daughter about straightening her hair after she had already told her no. After about an hour my daughter's hair was done. I went to pay and I had a 20% off coupon I wanted to use, but there was issue with it, so I had to pay the full amount. Michelle never came back out, she didn't check us out, another stylist did, which I was a little confused by, but it was cool because it made it easier for me to not leave her a tip. I only tip good customer service. Bottom line, this was not a good experience for us. The atmosphere was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. My daughter was really looking forward to developing a relationship with a potential stylist who could maintain her hair, but we see that this isn't the place for that. Unfortunately, it's always our people.

  Terrible service whomever Jakay rush my hair in a hour. Hair dryer kept coming apart she would pick it up and start back in my hair. My hair was the worse before and after she did it. I was mad but held it. Hair was dry and looked a hot mess. Would love to have a refund it wasn't worth it. Please don't go to this salon of you looking for good quality stylist and hair to be nice.

  Check this, I get to this mall and I am looking for a Casio Protrek for my pops. I check Macy's, Kohl's, the watch stores and none have the Protrek. They have the G-Shocks only. Don't get me wrong, G-Shocks are good, but I wanted one with solar power and a big display. I look at JCPenny and think, 'nah, they wouldn't have Protrek here'. The curiosity got the best of me and since I'm not a cat, I know I was ok. Go in and boom, they have them
