This will be a long review! First time - July massage: couples massage. I had Nelly and my husband had Sheila. It started with Sheila giving us a tour where she scolded employees in the break room when they were chatting and laughing bc she was “giving a tour”. It was rude of Sheila imo. She was trying really hard to sell us on colonics and the foot detox. We spent 80% of the tour in the colonics room getting a lesson despite politely declining. She looked at me and said “you care about the outside of the car. Your nails are done.” Then she looks at my husband up and down and says “you don’t care about the outside of the car” which was funny because why? He has a beard, tattoos, clean casual clothes. He’s blue collar; and you can tell. But. The comment was off-putting even more. I chalked it up to being an older lady, I digress. My husband and I laughed about it afterwards. Then it was time for the massage. I had Nelly (she was amazing. So amazing that I requested her for our second massage we just got!). Well, my husband had Sheila and he asked for more pressure, but that didn’t happen. She asked if there was a specific spot to focus on, he said his back. He felt like she just moved past any knots and didn’t focus on his back. During the massage Sheila was rude to Nelly. Nelly was in some pain/discomfort and Sheila was pressing Nelly to take ibuprofen or Tylenol and to “get on her knees and do it” for the arm massage portion. Just straight up rude. That’s when I knew I wouldn’t be asking for Sheila again. She called my husband 3 different names - which was funny. She lectured us some more about the importance of water after a massage and after I politely declined for myself. She was honestly just rude to her employees and that was sad to witness. And her massage wasn’t great for my husband so - there’s that. Second time - August massage - couple massage: I requested Nelly - 10/10! As per usual haha she is sweet, great pressure for me, and honestly great at what she does. My husband had Marcene (I’m 90% sure that’s her name) and he asked to focus on his back and asked for more pressure and he said she was awesome! He said the pressure was perfect and she got every knot out! 10/10 we will be requesting both ladies again :)

Place in itself was nice enough, however my 60 minute massage was about 10 mins cut short and the entire time I felt like I was just getting oil rubbed into my skin. I asked from the beginning if the massage therapist could go harder, but nothing changed. Of course I tipped because she provided me a service, but definitely not what I had in mind for a massage. Definitely way too expensive for what I received.

Love this place! You can see me there every other Friday. And they also accept the VA Authorization. I try to go early like 20 minutes before my appt to sit in the sauna and drink apple cider, then I’m ready for my hot stones massage. Try it….❤️

This was a great experience for me. I have booked with Hinesville Day Spa on multiple occasions and have always been satisfied. However, I did wonder when my 30 or 90 minutes truly started - was it when I entered the building or arrived at the room? Latoya gave me an excellent 30-minute massage, taking her time and ensuring everything was perfect. Her hands were exceptional, and I will be requesting her specifically for future appointments.

Great experience will be returning best massage I've ever had especially for someone who doesn't take time out for himself
