  Omg....my husband and I came for our anniversary (the rooms are single rooms). I had Phil and he did such an amazing job. I have had many massages 💆🏾‍♀️ but this place right here....PHIL ..... 👏🏾🫰🏾🫶🏾 he did that! .... when I was finished, I got dressed and went to the bathroom....man I lost my balance it so good! I will definitely be back. Sarah was the receptionist and she was so sweet and gentle... I wish this location was closer to me I would definitely make it a routine.... I will be back soon though! Thank you Phil.

  I visited The NOW Massage in Dunwoody for the first time, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. One of the first things I appreciated was the convenience of the free parking deck, which made arriving stress-free. The spa has a very welcoming atmosphere, and I loved the boho-inspired décor. The soothing sounds of rolling ocean waves immediately set the tone for a quiet and relaxing experience. I selected The NOW, and my massage therapist did a great job helping to reduce the tension I was experiencing. She incorporated a rolling technique that helped me relax and release some of the tightness. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at The NOW Massage and appreciated the peaceful environment. I would definitely consider returning for another relaxing self-care day!

  I’ve been to this location before and decided to come back because of the great experience I had previously. To my surprise, this visit was the complete opposite and extremely upsetting. I showed up, had a great conversation with the front desk associate, and was then greeted by my masseuse, Nkatha. From the very beginning, she made several alarming comments. During my pre-check-in, she asked where I was feeling tension. I explained that it was in my neck and shoulders, lower back, and feet. She made a disgusted face and responded, “I hope those things are clean.” I was immediately caught off guard. I then told her this was my first deep tissue massage and that I was nervous, and she laughed. Once we got into the room and the massage began, she repeatedly leaned over and said things like, “I hope you’ll survive this.” While that alone was uncomfortable, things became much worse afterward. Because I had added cupping to my massage, she asked me to remove my necklaces beforehand, one of which was a cross necklace. After my massage, I put one necklace back on but planned to wait until I got home to have someone help me put the cross necklace back on. Before taking me back to the front, Nkatha insisted on putting it on for me. She took it out of my hand, examined it, and then began making comments about my faith. She said, and I quote, “You people and the weird, crazy God you serve,” “Just because this is the God you serve doesn’t mean you have to force it onto people,” and “You wear this cross to show that He’s with you at all times or something.” Mind you, I had not mentioned religion even once. These comments were completely random, inappropriate, and deeply offensive. In that moment, I didn’t know what to say. I was in an extremely vulnerable position while she was standing behind me trying to clasp my necklace, all while criticizing my personal beliefs—beliefs that had absolutely nothing to do with the service I came in for. I quietly checked out, still tipped her, and walked out in complete shock. I was saddened, unsettled, and honestly nervous. My mind immediately started wondering if she had been thinking those things throughout my entire massage. Instead of leaving feeling relaxed and restored, I left feeling unsafe and deeply disrespected. What should have been a peaceful experience centered around relaxation and self-care was completely overshadowed by comments that should have never been made to a client. I’ll most likely never return to this location, and I sincerely hope someone from upper management reaches out regarding this incident. I’ve never experienced anything like this before, and it was incredibly hurtful and unprofessional. UPDATE 8/5 I was contacted by Nia, the supervisor at this location, regarding my previous experience. She was extremely professional, took the time to hear my entire side of the situation, and made me feel like my concerns genuinely mattered. I appreciated how attentive and compassionate she was throughout our conversation. Nia also offered to make things right by providing me with a fully covered service. I went today for The NOW 50-minute massage with Quan, and it was absolutely amazing. Outside of the original therapist I had, every interaction I’ve had at this location has been wonderful. From the front desk staff to management, you can tell they care about the experience they provide. I’m especially grateful to Nia for giving me the experience I was originally hoping for. My only critique is that I happened to run into the same therapist while I was there today, and I’ll admit it made for an uncomfortable moment. I sincerely hope the situation was addressed appropriately. That said, I can confidently recommend this location for massage services, and I highly recommend booking with Quan. While I’m still unsure whether I’ll personally return if that therapist remains employed here, I do believe the staff and management handled the situation with professionalism and genuinely cared about making things right.
