I hate to have to give only two stars. I usually just leave positive reviews on exceptional places and keep negative opinions to myself. I was going to let everything go, not come back and mind my business. But when multiple toenails just got caught and snagged my bedding the night after my pedicure here, that was the final straw. The place is honestly filthy. Everything looked and felt dusty and greasy. I went into the bathroom as one of the first customers right after they opened in the morning, and the trash can was absolutely stuffed and overflowing with trash. There’s so much random junk lying around everywhere, it just seems really disorganized. I noticed several used rags and towels in the pedicure area. The armrests were greasy. The gel palette you can pick your color from is just crusty. None of the plastic nails just have clean, properly cured gel on them, it’s all dull and dusty and sticky looking. They don’t use plastic covers for their pedicure water basins. I don’t get pedicures often but every other salon I’ve gotten them at has used them and it just seems like common sense. If the place had been otherwise spotless, I might not have minded but in this context it bothered me. My gel is see through in places and just looks like it would have needed at least another layer - this was hard to tell at the salon but looking at them closely, now that I have to clip and file them down so I can go to bed (!!), they’re definitely not done properly. Prices are comparable to clean, nice salons that seem to care a whole lot more about client experience and it’s honestly pretty outrageous. The water temp was nice. The massage was nice. My feet are nicely moisturized. That’s about it. Like I said, I was willing to move on from all of this but it turns out my nails literally have sharp pointy jags AFTER a pedicure that they absolutely did not have before. I can file my own nails for free. Honestly, I want local businesses to thrive. But local customers also deserve to be respected and this ain’t it. Everything I just talked about is absolutely fixable and I do hope they pull this ship around. But at this point I really feel like I need to be honest about the state of things so other people don’t get blindsided.

I’ve searched for a quality nail tech for a long time. Lou isn’t just the owner of this sweet little salon but more like a friend you can sit and talk to while receiving the very best service. My nails are always exactly what i ask for and i am always happy. I’m also very pleased with every pedicure I’ve had at Gold Nails and all their other services are excellent!

I had gel removed then clear polish. I got treated to a hand massage and heat treatment I didn't expect. Very pleased.

Over priced for a fill in on acrylic nails and to change color with a fill in is a whole 30 dollars. She was rude about a simple question as well
