He was crying in my lap, as toddlers often do, and Kadejah came over from another customer just to tell me the following. She said; “This is trauma. This is a traumatic moment for him. When your son grows up to be your husband’s age and he has trauma, this moment right here - what you are doing - will be why. Just some food for thought.” If someone had come to tell me that he was disturbing others and that we should reconsider his haircut at a less busy time, I would’ve understood. But no, she just wanted to shame me about my parenting because my son crying over a haircut. It was a completely inappropriate way to handle a patient interaction, and we will go somewhere better suited to handle children in the future. The woman who cut my hair was lovely, patient, and kind and did a great job on my cut.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
