    I had to take a moment to recognize the AMAZING customer service I received from Miss Gina at Sephora. She truly went above and beyond from the moment I walked in. Her grace, beautiful smile, warm spirit, and professionalism made my entire experience unforgettable. In a time where great customer service can be hard to find, Miss Gina delivered one of the best experiences I’ve had in years. She was patient, knowledgeable, attentive, and made me feel genuinely valued as a customer. Sephora is lucky to have someone like her on their team — honestly, she should be a District Manager or in a leadership role because she embodies what exceptional customer service should look like.     Just want to give a shoutout to this Sephora and to Kat who helped me today when I walked in completely clueless. She helped me find the right mix of brands and products for my whole face - foundation, concealer, blush, brows, and setting spray. She went through multiple shades with me and even showed me how to apply each product correctly. I have been this Sephora a lot but this was the first time I needed this much help and she delivered!

    This was the dirtiest Sephora I have ever been to. Every product had a layer of dust on it. I left and decided to go somewhere else to buy product that wasn’t filthy.

    I am very disappointed with the brow wax service I received at Sephora Cumberland (1140 Cumberland Mall, Atlanta, GA) on May 1, 2026, from 5:15 PM to 5:35 PM, performed by Li S. I booked this service because Sephora has a reputation for premium beauty services and professionalism. Before the appointment, I clearly explained that I wanted to keep my eyebrows natural, full, and thick, with only a light clean-up. Unfortunately, my eyebrows were made thinner than I requested, and an unwanted gap was left in one of my brows, changing the shape in a way I did not ask for. What disappointed me most was not only the result, but also the lack of acknowledgment or apology regarding the mistake. As a paying customer, I expected better communication, more attention to my request, and a higher level of care—especially from a brand known for premium service. I’m sharing this review because I hope Sephora improves the consistency and quality of its brow services, and that future clients receive the attentive, professional experience the brand promises.

    I recently visited this Sephora location with a very clear intention - I came in prepared, educated on products, and ready to spend. What stood out to me was a noticeable inconsistency in customer engagement. I passed several associates on the floor without being greeted, which was surprising given Sephora’s typically strong reputation for service. As someone with a background in retail (including luxury environments), I understand that associates sometimes give space to customers who appear confident or self-directed. However, a simple acknowledgment can go a long way in setting the tone for the experience. That said, I did receive excellent service once I reached specific areas of the store. Dara (at the NARS Cosmetics section) was warm and helpful, assisting me with fragrance selection and ensuring my items were set aside for checkout. Additionally, Daniel - who I believe may be part of the leadership team - provided a standout experience. He took the time to walk me through products from Youth To The People and ultimately introduced me to a sunscreen that I hadn’t planned on purchasing but ended up loving. His approach felt consultative rather than transactional, which made a strong impression. Interestingly, I found myself reflecting on how customer engagement is sometimes directed. From a retail perspective, it can feel like service is occasionally prioritized toward customers who appear to need more guidance, while more self-sufficient shoppers may be unintentionally overlooked. Ironically, those same shoppers are often highly intentional and ready to purchase. Overall, this visit was a mix of missed opportunities and strong individual service moments. With more consistent floor engagement, this location has the potential to deliver a truly elevated, best-in-class experience from start to finish.
