  Dec 12 2025 i decided on this place to get my 5 yr old ear pierced. I really wish I would've gone somewhere else. I don't remember the lady's name, all I remember is she had dark hair. I was not blown away by spectacular customer service but it wasn't bad. I picked out earrings, sat my daughter in the chair, she marked her ears pierced one and this is where it all went down hill. The second piercing was not on the mark. I questioned it and she made it seem like it was fine. I was constantly looking thinking they look uneven. Fast forward June 27th 2026 I brought her in to change her earrings. A lady said the piercings look great. She was not being honest. I have to take my daughter elsewhere to get an additional piercing to center it. The right piercing is not centered, it is hanging close to the edge. She ruined my daughters piercing, her first experience 🤦🏾‍♀️ there is no way all of those women are nurses/professionals.

  This was an amazing experience Me and my daughter got pierced together and everyone was SOOO kind and they made her feel like a million bucks. Thank you for making her first experience one to remember forever

  I had a great experience getting my daughters ears pierced! There were so many options and the nurses were so kind! They were quick and she only cried for about 15 seconds. I would definitely recommend Rowan!

  I had my earlobes pierced here in early May. The people who worked here were lovely (one star for that), but after following care instructions and using Rowan's cleaning product with sterile gauze, I wound up with horribly painful and infected piercings. I recently moved to NYC and visited a Rowan location on the Upper East Side, where a Rowan nurse told me that the "device" piercings I received at the Atlanta location were way too tight and did not allow sufficient room for swelling, which can lead to infection. I sat there in pain while the nurse drained blood and pus from my ears. She recommended that I see a doctor immediately, and I'm now on antibiotics. I understand that all piercings come with risks, and everyone heals differently, but I spent WAY too much money for someone to make a beginner's mistake on a routine piercing.

  I got 5 piercings done (flat, helix, anti-helix, lobes). I assumed with nurses piercing, appropriate jewelry would be used for different anatomical areas and I would be guided to correct choices. It’s been 2-3mo since my piercings and I’ve had to have jewelry changed on all 5 piercings and have a bump on 2. I travel for work so I’ve just had to find local piecing/tattoo shops to change my jewelry when issues have arisen. All the piercers I’ve been to were aghast at the jewelry choices. The posts were too short, the gauge was too small, the head of the jewelry itself was too small. I spend over $600 thinking I was getting clean, professional piercings and have spend several hundred addl dollars to have other pierces change jewelry and help me try to salvage my damaged ears. I have used appropriate cleaning, an ear piercing pillow, no swimming, etc since day one; these issues all stem back to inappropriate jewelry choice. I am so beyond disappointed. I will never go anywhere accept a piercing shop in the future.
