I’m obsessed with the supple skin oil and smoothing milk concentrate. The store manager was super helpful and explained everything to me quite patiently. I bought the shea hand lotion this time so excited to see if I like this as much as the other products.

I have mixed feelings about my experiences at the L’Occitane store at Perimeter Mall.
My first visit was excellent. The associates were welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to educate me about the products without making me feel pressured to purchase anything. I purchased an overnight serum, neroli body wash and the Amande shower oil that I absolutely loved, and I left feeling excited about the brand and the customer experience.
Unfortunately, my subsequent visits were very different. I visited again around Mother’s Day while shopping for gifts and was assisted by Camila. She was initially helpful and answered questions about fragrances and gift options. However, when it came time to check out, I felt rushed through the process. One of the things I enjoy about shopping at L’Occitane is the elevated in-store experience, including the attention to detail and presentation. I had to remind her to spray the scented tissue paper before packaging my purchase, and the interaction felt hurried rather than personalized.
My most recent visit was even more disappointing. I brought my grandmother to the store because I wanted to introduce her to the products and fragrances that I enjoy. When we entered, Camila recognized me and said, “You’ve been here before, so you already know the drill,” and then returned to other tasks rather than offering assistance. When I asked for the Almond Supple Skin Oil, she directed me to a display where the product was not actually stocked. After realizing the mistake, she restocked the shelf and pointed to the product before walking away.
The overall interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. During checkout, the experience again felt rushed, and I did not feel valued as a customer. Ultimately, the experience left such a negative impression that I returned the item shortly afterward.
What was especially disappointing was that during my return visit, I observed a much more attentive and engaging level of service being provided to another customer, including detailed product explanations and multiple sample offerings. It highlighted the difference between the experience I received and the level of service I had expected based on my first visit.
I want to be clear that I love L’Occitane’s products, which is why this experience was so disappointing. The brand’s products are premium, and customers visit the boutique specifically for the personalized service and expertise that set it apart from purchasing online or through other retailers.
I hope management takes this feedback constructively because customer service has a significant impact on whether customers choose to return. While I will continue purchasing L’Occitane products, I will likely do so online or at another location in the future.

Immediately welcomed by Saia who assisted with my choice of mens cologne. She showed the available options and I selected the scent which I have purchased in the past at other L'Occotane locations. Saia was very personable and I did also note her excellent familiarity to the mens line. Thank you. I drove all the way from downtown Atlanta to make the purchase and was pleased with the purchase and in-store experience.

The saleswoman at this store was playing with her son during working hours, making customers wait for half an hour. I will definitely never go back to this store again. It was the worst shopping experience.

I love L’occitane and was glad I visited this location. Staff member, Kenny, helped me so much! He knew EXACTLY what my skin needed. He is super friendly, well informed, and actually cares about your skin concerns. Kenny is awesome!
