  Booked an appt for a nostril piercing weeks in advance because I live out of town. I called the morning of my appointment to confirm all the details, including the placement of my piercing. Was notified 45 min before, as I was already in route to the appointment that there was no one there who knew how to do a needle piercing for my SCHEDULED appointment. No availability to make an appt with someone who knows how to pierce a nostril until after I leave town. Poorly managed !!!!!

  We showed up at 5:20 .. they asked me to make an appointment which I made for 6 pm. It is now 6:45 they are still not ready for my appointment. She ended up taking 4 people before us disregarding my 6 and 6:30 appts that I made. Such a disappointing, I drove across town to come here and have waited 2 hours and no piercing!

  Went in today to get conch piercings. Was immediately met with bright, friendly staff. Store has a great selection of jewelry within many price ranges. Jess was amazing! She explained in detail every step she was doing as she went so I knew what to expect throughout the process. During my process, another nurse was working on piercing a young girl, that nurse was amazing and had the young girl smiling and laughing just seconds after her piercings were done! Absolute 10/10 experience at rowan and I will absolutely be returning in the future

  DO NOT COME HERE Horrible experience. I came in for a nose piercing as a walk-in and was told to come back at 2:00 PM even though I had originally arrived and checked in for my appointment at 1:45 PM. I came back at 2:00 and waited for around 40 minutes. Since we were just sitting there waiting, we asked the front desk if we could step next door for a moment, only to find out the piercer had gone on break and we had to wait until she came back. They then told me 2:45 PM, which was already an hour after my appointment time. When I came back at 2:45, I was told I still had to wait because a family of three was ahead of me. I explained that I had already been waiting for over two hours, but they said they had priority because they were “on time.” The lack of communication and customer service was extremely disappointing. I felt like my time wasn’t respected at all.

  Today we visited to have my niece's left ear re-pierced after the piercing had closed. Our first visit was a wonderful experience, which is why we returned. Unfortunately, our second visit was disappointing due to the behavior of the nurse who was working around 2:15 p.m. When we arrived, she told us they were busy and that we would need to book an appointment. However, the establishment did not appear busy, and there were advertisements indicating that walk-ins were welcome. Nevertheless, we accepted her explanation and left. I later checked online and was able to book an appointment for 3:30 p.m. Since my sister and I were already in the area, we returned a little early. At that time, we met a very kind woman who appeared to be the owner or manager. She was transparent and courteous in explaining why we could not be seen until later in the day, which we appreciated. This review is intended specifically to address the behavior of the nurse we encountered during our initial visit. She came across as rude, and we overheard her saying that she needed 45 minutes for the appointment. Had she simply explained that there was not a staff member available to perform the piercing with a device at that time, we would have completely understood. Instead, we were simply told to make an appointment online. Additionally, when we returned with our appointment, she appeared to make a facial expression or gesture in response to our arrival, which felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. As someone who works in customer service, I was disappointed by this interaction. I hope management addresses this employee's behavior, as I would not want other customers to have a similar experience. The kindness and professionalism shown by the manager made a positive impression, but unfortunately the nurse's conduct significantly affected our overall experience.
