  I am 77 years old, and for many years I wanted to get more ear piercings but never went through with it because trust was very important to me. I decided to visit Rowan at International Plaza and Bay Street after learning that their piercings are performed by licensed nurses, and I am so glad I did. Nurse Liz and Nurse Crystal were wonderful. They took the time to explain the entire process, answered all of my questions, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. They also explained their hypoallergenic earrings, which gave me even more confidence in my decision. I chose to get my second lobe piercings along with a flat helix, and I could not be happier with my experience. Everyone was professional, kind, and made me feel very cared for. I highly recommend Rowan at International Plaza to anyone looking for a safe, clean, and professional piercing experience.

  I did not have the best experience today at International mall Rowan location ! I was greeted by a nice receptionist who went over jewelry, and how to schedule and appt. Once I schedule my appt she checked me in. Appt scheduled for 5:15 . Saw only two nurses working. A Black hair nurse explained I needed to wait on the other nurse for the type of piercings I wanted. The other nurse finished a group of 3, and stared running around the back house. 5:15 turned into 5:45. Mind you I’m sitting in the lobby with a 5month old who is now sleepy and a 5 yo who is restless. Nothing was said to me about the delay and I left. Not sure what the nurse whom was assigned to me was doing, but it would have been nice to have been acknowledged and explanation for the delay… I wanted to check this place out to see if my baby girl would be getting her ears pierced here, but my experience today has changed my mind.

  I had a great experience at Rowan! I had the pleasure of working with Skyla. She was so professional and shared important info about the piercing process. I had the last appointment of the evening and although it was near closing time I did not feel rushed at all. Skyla made the process so fun and helped me pick out the perfect jewelry for my desired constellation piercing. I can’t wait to come back and get my next piercing and continue to style my ear with Rowan.

  We got our 3 month old daughter’s ears pierced by Nyasha and she was fantastic. She went through the process before getting started and made sure us and the baby were comfortable the whole time. She was quick and efficient and went over the proper care to make sure we took care of our daughter’s piercings the right way. From beginning to end from the moment we walked into the store everyone was great and the experience was great too! We will definitely be back to purchase more of their options for earrings.

  Went to get my 6 month old daughter’s ears pierced on 4/25/26. i got the flower 14k gold earrings & i also purchased the $20 ear cleaning solution. In all i spent around $185 on this all for literally less than 3 weeks of time a crystal has already fallen out of the earring & within 24hrs of getting pierced my 6MONTH OLD Was able to open the cleaning solution within seconds and it spilled everywhere. There should be some sort of child lock to where this cant happen. After looking up the cleaning solution name i found that walgreens sells the SAME one for $9.99 & actually contains 5fl oz & HAS CHILD LOCK packaging vs the 3.5 fl oz you guys are over pricing for $20. I feel completely scammed & at this point would just like a refund. I contacted the store in tampa and they said they can replace the earring but honestly dont think its worth the two hour drive just for the crystal to fallout again after two weeks. I have emailed the company and its annoying i cant even call them directly to get this sorted out. Waiting on a reply hopefully soon. All in all i don’t recommend getting pierced here. Very over hyped for what you actually get.
