- DCDestini ClevelandApr 3, 20261.0I’m only leaving a one because you have to. The initial lady was very pleasant. My stylist, Ansaf, was unwelcoming from the very beginning. Soon as I sat down in her chair she says your hair is long, $80. My hair is in fact not that long. JCPenney hair salons have a reputation for upcharging African American women. I had no idea that is what my initial experience would be. I am extremely disappointed. No, I did not continue with services and will advise my peers and followers not to patronize this business.

Vanessa took such great care of us! My daughters had fun with her. We all enjoyed the wash session 😄 She was patient, very kind, and well knowledgeable about hair care. The rest of the staff were also friendly and the place was clean (including the restroom).
