  Paula and her team were nothing short of extraordinary! From the very beginning, she took the time to thoroughly explain every service, making me feel completely comfortable and confident. I’ve never considered myself a “girly girl” — I always believed foundation and mascara were enough — but Paula completely transformed my perspective. Not only is her talent absolutely breathtaking, but her kindness, patience, and genuine support made the entire experience unforgettable. She made me feel more beautiful than I ever imagined possible, all while creating an environment where I felt totally at ease and never judged. Paula handled the hair and makeup for my entire bridal party, as well as for my husband and me, and the results were flawless. Everyone looked stunning, and the professionalism and positive energy she brought to our wedding day were truly priceless. If you are considering booking Paula — do it.   Paula was absolutely Amazing. Her demeanor and vibe kept me super calm and she made my wedding day an amazing experience for me and my whole family. I highly recommend having her all day for touch ups and and she even did another evening look for me after the pictures. Her staff is also top notch and I cannot say enough good things about city lights. I am not used to being the center of attention and she made me feel so at ease.

  Paula is one of the most talented make up artists I know. She knows exactly what she's doing from matching your skin tone, to doing your hair for your big day. I would absolutely hire her any day.

  Paula did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my elopement. I let her know during my trial that I would need makeup that lasted for hours because I would be taking photos for 6 hours. My makeup and hair held up for those 6 hours and then some. We decided to run through a foundation and my makeup didn't budge!

  I hired Paula for my wedding last month, and I was very disappointed with the outcome of my hair and makeup. My makeup become very blotchy before the wedding even began because she never set my face with setting spray. I was told the makeup was waterproof/transfer proof but it was streaking and very uneven throughout the entire night. I had to touch it up regularly and it was embarrassing because I felt like everyone could see how bad my skin looked. As for the hair, it was something I could have done myself. I showed her a picture and she was confident she could it. I even watched videos of other artists doing that specific hairstyle and it looked amazing. However, my hair did not look professionally done at all. All of the bobby pins were visible and it just felt like she struggled to do such a simple look. I spent nearly $1000 in hair/makeup trials alone because I was not happy with any look she gave me. I had already paid the deposit and was too deep into it financially to look for someone new. By the third trial, I was happy with the makeup look and how it held up. On the wedding day it just looked completely different. She did an amazing job on my mother and sister, but I was truly disappointed that I spent thousands of dollars on my hair and makeup for it to look messy, blotchy, and something I could have done better on my own. The worst part about it is when she asked how everything went and I shared my concerns, she never replied to me. I should have listened to my gut and found someone else regardless of the money I had already spent. I would have a lot more respect for her if she acknowledged and apologized for the way my hair and makeup turned out. She was panicking by the end of my session and even said herself that the hair looked awful. But there wasn’t enough time to fix it. Just disappointed because I liked Paula and respected her work ethic. But the lack of responsibility and response from her says enough.
