  My daughter got her cut for her 16th birthday. I have never seen her so happy. Not just the extremely professional work but a very kind heart, smiles and lot of talk that makes the clients feel at home. I just witnessed the best place where you will find happiness in abundance. Hair Cutter at Lake Forest is super amazing.

  Ellize - Hair Cuttery( Lake Forest) gave my 8-year-old son a terrible haircut. She took way too long and clearly lacked the proper technique and training. When asked for a line on the side, she completely messed it up. We had no choice but to shave the entire section of his head to fix the mistake. And she was pushing us to move as she wanted to attend the next customer. Extremely unprofessional and highly unrecommended.

  Exceptional service , caring and took the time to trim my hair to look great . I was not treated by just a number for business . Definitely , I would come back and ask for her to take care of me . For the first time in a while that I have been to hair Cuttery that I find a hair stylist as devoted to her profession to make me feel important and go above and beyond . On a scale of 1-10 , she deserves a 10+ . Please let her know personally or by a written message and greet her of her wonderful performance .

  I've been going to this salon several times now. Carolina is my stylist and I am very happy with the quality of her work. She is very friendly, professional, and dedicated to what she does. I look forward to many more salon visits with her and I highly recommend her. Michele Yera

  This is what happened to me the day before I was leaving for vacation. I don’t even blame the hairdresser who I do blame is all the other senior hairdressers at this establishment saw this person struggling. I was there almost 7 hours and that’s what my hair looked like. Their corporate office is a joke. I called to make a complaint. They were nasty while I was on the phone, trying to inform them of what happened the customer service representative was mocking me because I was crying. I was so upset because I was leaving on vacation the following day I still had to find another place to go to, get the hair trimmed up just so that it’s even not totally just so that it would not look horrendous. I did not at any time tell this hairdresser that I wanted layers in the back. I wanted less than an inch taken off the back of my hair . My hair was very healthy when I walked in there very long the picture that you see that I’m sitting down in the chair shows about 4 1/2 inches taken off and then I had to go to another salon and she had to take off. More to just make it look even.I would say another inch and a half to 2 inches to make it fairly even cause I couldn’t walk around like that, and I could not let her, make it totally even that would’ve left my hair at the middle of my shoulder blade when I sat down my hair was at my waist. I get a call from the manager on June 24th and she stated oh just come in and will fix it for you . That was over a week after the incident and she stated it was the first she heard of it but when I called customer service when I got back from my vacation on the 19th, he told me all the manager stated she called you, which was a lie because my call logs have no call coming in from them . I told her absolutely not I would not let them cut a dolls hair after, what was done to me they knew exactly the skills that this hairdresser had there was no way that she had the skill set to do what I was asking for. It wasn’t anything outlandish but she has lots to practice and then the joke was I was charged $182. I paid because I did not want to get arrested. I left there crying. I was crying crying so hard in the parking lot. I had to call my daughter. My daughter came when she saw my head and the burn marks on the back of my neck she went in there and forced them to give me my money back because they had no intentions on paying me back, I had to go to a different salon just to make it even enough so that it did not look so horrendous and the other hairdresser told me the hair was over. Processed to the point that I’m not able to. to add any highlights or do anything to my hair other than conditioning for at least 6 to 8 months. I’d like to know how is it that this place has a 4.5 score I even filed with the Better Business Bureau. I’m also going to take this to small claims court because somebody’s going to pay to have my hair done. Why should I pay for their incompetence? It took me almost a year and a half to get to the lightest color that I was I did the color lightening in lots of stages because I did not want to damage my hair. I do not put heat on it if I want curls, I roll it or finger roll My hair was beautiful. These people ruined my hair and then chopped it up and all I get was yeah come in will cut it, I’m not going to continue to damage my hair. These people are a joke.
