Every time we’ve been they are all in a bad mood, openly speak poorly about other customers, then just complain about their lives the entire time you’re in the chair. We gave them the benefit of the doubt many times and tipped $10 per service which is more than a 50% tip. Still they are ungrateful and treat us badly. They don’t deserve good customers.
- JJJackieApr 13, 20261.0I had an extremely disappointing experience at the 301 Great Clips location in Riverview a few months back and feel I should share. I went in for a simple trim to remove split ends. The stylist (an older blonde woman) asked if I wanted my face framed, and I agreed—expecting a subtle, chin-length shaping like I’ve had before. Instead, she cut 4–6 inches off the front of my hair, far more than I asked for. She then rushed through the appointment, didn’t blow dry my hair, and sent me out with my hair still wet, giving me no real chance to check the result. Once I got home and dried it myself, I realized my hair was uneven—about 2 inches longer on one side!!! I returned the next morning, but the same stylist was the only one there. Not trusting her to fix it, I drove 25 minutes to another Great Clips in Valrico during my workday. After waiting 30 minutes, they did their best to correct it, but had to cut off several more inches, and it still didn’t look right. Despite acknowledging the situation, I was charged again. This was a frustrating, time-consuming experience that resulted in far more hair being cut than I agreed to. I will not return to this location and would not recommend it. I strongly urge others to be cautious.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
