    I frequent Sephora often and have never had an experience quite like the one today. During checkout , Jordan , was very unpleasant . The only time he spoke during our interaction was when he told me I owed him 56 cents after using my gift card . I said hello to him when I walked up and he said nothing , I asked about using the gift card and he said nothing . Jordan was upset after because when he told me I owed 56 cents I stopped talking , just like him , and flashed my phone when he said cash or card . He then tossed the lip balm across the counter at me and I told him to return my gift card , which is when we began having a back and forth , with the manager watching and saying nothing . He told me I was being childish because i was “mad” he didn’t speak to me and he isn’t obligated to speak to customers . Unfortunately this is customer service and you absolutely have to speak . He also told me to lower my voice while talking, which I absolutely didn’t. Even after the manger told him multiple times to go take a break .. which the store had just opened and I was the second person to check out , not sure what break he could need , he still continued to argue with me . Another manager that helped me earlier came over and apologized and said she overheard what was happening during my checkout and refunded my gift card . If Jordan is checking me out next time , I think it’s safe to assume it won’t go well based off of this interaction alone.

    It seems like very time I go to Sephora they never have the bonus products and it’s pretty annoying. Being someone who spends money and can’t get a “bonus” or “birthday” reward really sucks. Today I went specifically to get something for my birthday (spent over $200) and could only pick from 2 out of 6 products. Understandable that it’s an “additional” but it would be nice if the products were actually in stocks.

    Unfortunately I need to share the sentiments shared by others on customer service. The male cashier that checked me out today was extremely rude, argumentative and unprofessional. The manager Renee helped to resolve. I know its hard to get good help today but Customer Service training from HQ is in order before I ever return.
