  What a wonderful experience, from the walkin, and to the finish. Both Aariel and Angie were professional. Conversation was amazing and the pedicure room is perfectly dark. Almost makes me want to bring a pillow in and take a nap! Signed up for the membership and it is well worth it!

  After a frustrating experience trying to get appointments handled at the Winter Park location, I called the Oviedo location hoping they might be able to help. From the very first phone call, the difference in customer service was obvious. Not only were they able to fit both my son and me in on short notice, but the front-of-house staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. You could tell immediately they genuinely cared about creating a good experience and making people feel comfortable. The atmosphere was exactly what you’d hope for — laid back, relaxing, and easygoing without sacrificing professionalism. Sometimes places advertise a premium experience; this location actually delivers it. Both my son and I left extremely happy with our haircuts, and I was very impressed with my shave as well. Our barber was fantastic — friendly, detail-oriented, and never made us feel rushed. She took her time, paid attention to everything, and the quality absolutely showed. It ended up being a great father/son experience instead of the disappointing day I thought we were headed toward. What was completely unexpected was that they comped our services. That was never something I asked for or expected, and it was genuinely appreciated. To me, it wasn’t about the money — it was about feeling valued as a customer and seeing a team willing to go above and beyond to make a bad experience somewhere else right. During our visit, I was told all four locations are franchised under the same owner. If that’s the case, then the service we received at Oviedo is a reflection of ownership actually caring about the customer experience and empowering staff to do the right thing. Businesses rise and fall on culture, and this location clearly has one centered around hospitality and customer care. The Oviedo team turned what started as frustration into an experience worth writing about. Great hosts, great atmosphere, excellent service, and genuinely kind people. I’ll absolutely make the drive back to this location again because of the way we were treated. That level of customer service is hard to find.

  Austin, what to say!? A gentleman in his own right, Austin gave me a premium experience (baller fade and shave) at the shop. A great conversationalist, Austin made me feel like I was at home, super chill. I had a great experience here! They also do manicures and pedicures here…just so happens I am a member in another city. I absolutely recommend Hammer and Nails…also, they give a Veterans discount!! This is an all-in-one Gentleman’s shop…I will be back soon! Thanks again, Austin!🤘🏼

  After avoiding the barber chair since COVID, my wife convinced me I needed a "glow up" for my 50th birthday trip to Mexico. I called it a "tune-up." Either way, I walked into Hammer & Nails Oviedo a skeptic and walked out a member. From the jump, the welcome was top-tier. I did not catch the name of the woman at the front, but she gave me a great tour and a Gin & Tonic that immediately set the tone. Shaina handled my head shave and beard grooming, and she is a total pro. We realized it is a small world with some crazy commonalities, and we had some really good laughs throughout the service (avoid this when there is a straight razor involved LOL). Her work made me remember what it felt like back when I had a full head of hair to marvel at. I have been missing out on what it means to be truly "pampered." (Do not tell my buddies I used that word.) Then there is Gee. As a guy’s guy who has never been waxed in his life, I was terrified based on internet videos. I thought I would need to be hammered to survive it. But Gee is a master of distraction. She made the whole process seamless and painless. I am on to your techniques, Gee, and I truly appreciate them! You could put these ladies in a warehouse and they would still be successful, but the atmosphere here is five-star. If you are a guy who thinks he does not "do" this kind of thing, trust me, you do. Ask for Shaina and Gee.
