Unfortunately, I had a few challenges come up, and the receptionist was very accommodating and understanding to my situation. The receptionist went ahead and rescheduled my session for the next morning as soon as they opened at 10 AM. The minute I walked in. I was greeted by a receptionist and ran into the Owner JJ as well. The place was extremely beautiful and the energy was perfect and inviting. I really needed to have this experience as I was dealing with some personal challenges and needed a crystal hot stone healing massage to help me relax mind-body, and soul. I was introduced to Leah my massage/healing specialist. She sat me down and asked me how I was feeling and really got to understand why I was there. She made me feel very comfortable. Leah was extremely kind. I am huge on energy as an empath and I can tell this was going to be an amazing experience. We then walked into the beautiful hallway where the ambience and sound healing began as soon as I entered. I asked for a light to medium pressure and added on the Crystal hot stone therapy. Before I came in there, I felt like I was about to burn out or have an anxiety filled day. Thanks to Leah and everyone who assisted with my experience from the phone call to being greeted was beyond exceptional. Leah made my massage and healing journey one of the best experiences I have had. Her kindness and attention to my needs really changed the way I felt physically and energetically walking into my work/creative day. I am so grateful for everyone at The Now in Miatland. It was as if My massage therapist had never given a massage before and quickly googled how to give a massage before walking into my room. My 80 minute massage was 55 minutes. He didn’t use any oil or lotion on the second half (maybe he ran out?) my skin was rubbed raw with friction. He then claimed the redness was from an allergic reaction to the oil. I am not allergic to anything and have never had a reaction to any oils/lotions during the 100+ massages I’ve had in my life. The appointment started late and He seemed very rushed. All of the massage tables are in one big room divided by thin curtains so you can hear other therapist and clients chatting. At the price point of $180 I was expecting at least a decent experience. I will never be back. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

How does The NOW differ from a traditional spa?
The NOW has reimagined the approachable luxury of a neighborhood spa with high-quality massages and exclusive enhancements that offer relaxation and healing. Our goal is to offer customizable massage services without the time commitment and cost of a traditional spa.
When should I arrive for my massage?
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled massage to permit ample time for check-in. As a courtesy to other members and guests, we must start and end each massage service at the scheduled time; accordingly, we will not be able to extend the time of your service if you arrive late.
How do I book a massage?
You can schedule an appointment online at www.thenowmassage.com, through The NOW Massage app, or by contacting the boutique directly by phone. We also welcome walk-ins, but due to high demand, we recommend scheduling in advance.
How do I cancel a service that I’ve scheduled?
A booked massage can be canceled by logging into your account on the website, through The NOW Massage app, or by calling the boutique. Please be aware of our late cancellation policy. We respectfully request at least 12 hours notice if you need to cancel or rebook your massage appointment. We charge 50% of the reservation made to the credit card on file to compensate our staff for missed wages when there is a last minute cancellation.
What if I fail to show for a scheduled massage or arrive late?
If you miss your appointment or arrive 15 minutes past your scheduled service start time, the service is automatically canceled and the full price of the scheduled service is charged to the credit card on file. To ensure a relaxing experience, and get the full benefits of the massage, we advise guests to arrive on time (or early) for all scheduled appointments.
How can I cancel my membership?
Ritual Members can cancel their recurring dues membership at any time by providing their boutique with 30-days written notice stating the desire to cancel. You may cancel in-person at the boutique or by sending an email to the boutique where your membership was purchased. All boutique contact information can be found under the locations page on our website.
Note: In states where required by applicable law, in addition to the above, you can also choose to cancel your membership through choosing the cancellation option on your membership profile online.
How long do I have to use massage credits?
Membership credits can accrue indefinitely until a Ritual Membership is canceled. Unused massage credits will continue to accrue (i.e., roll-over month-to-month) as long as your membership remains in place. You will have 3 months from the date of cancellation to use any unused massage credits before they expire. No refunds are issued for unused credits.
Can I freeze my membership?
The freeze policy allows you to temporarily suspend your Ritual Membership in accordance with the following terms: You may freeze your membership up to three(3) months per contractual year. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
Do you accept gift cards?
Yes, we accept gift cards for The NOW Massage services and products. Gift card terms and conditions do apply. For more details on our gift card program, please refer to our Terms of Service.
Do you permit minors to use services?
Yes, unless the state, province or territory prohibit it by law, The NOW Massage makes services available to minors between the ages of 13 and 17. Minor use of services requires the written consent of a parent or legal guardian, and additional restrictions may apply. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.

What if I’m not feeling well?
If you are feeling sick or unwell prior to the start of your scheduled massage, we encourage you to stay home. The NOW Massage boutique is an open-space concept and keeping guests and team members safe is everyone’s responsibility. If you begin to feel sick during your treatment, please let your Massage therapist know immediately.
What is the NOW's policy related to cell phone use at the boutique?
We aim to create a safe and relaxing environment for our members and guests. The tranquility offered within our space is paramount. Cell phones can be disruptive and are not encouraged. Although we do allow cell phones at the boutique, we require that the phones be turned off or switched to silent mode upon check-in.
Can I return purchased items?
Yes, if you’ve purchased items in a boutique, we accept returns in original condition (unused, undamaged and unopened in the original packaging) within seven days from the date of purchase. All items purchased in a boutique are only eligible for return or exchange in the same location it was purchased. Because jewelry is made-to-order, jewelry is eligible for exchange only.
If you’ve purchased items online – through The NOW’s website – we accept returns in original conditions (unused, undamaged and unopened in original packaging) provided you first obtain a return authorization number, which you can request by emailing shop@thenowmassage.com. The return authorization number must be written clearly on the outside of the box. Return and exchange shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and the original shipping charge is nonrefundable.
