  NOW Massage has erroneously charged me almost $1,700 for a membership I never signed up for. I spoke with two women today about it who mentioned the manager would call me to resolve it. When I phoned to follow up, the woman who answered the phone hung up on me. I spoke calmly and professionally. I am really hoping we can resolve this quickly, ethically, and responsibly.

  Faith did an amazing job! She was very intentional, polite and trustworthy. I was very comfortable and relaxed within our consultation. During my experience she made sure to check in with me on the pressure of my massage. Thank you

  I stopped on a whim today and got their signature massage, added hot stones and the coconut head scrub. This was my first time at The Now and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Maurice was fantastic. I left feeling buttery and relaxed 🤎

  I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with NOW Massage Therapy was disappointing from beginning to end. For my husband's birthday, I purchased and prepaid for a massage online, including the deep tissue add-on. When he arrived, he was charged again for the deep tissue service that had already been paid for. They seemingly extended his massage into a point of sale, but the experience left such a poor impression that he didn't plan to return anyways. Later, I discovered I had also been charged for a membership. After calling, we were told the membership could be transferred so I could use it instead. When I arrived for my appointment, the confusion only continued. There were multiple issues with my account because of my husband's information versus mine, phone numbers, email addresses, and shared membership access. I was even asked to enter a fake email address because they couldn't get the system to work correctly. Throughout check-in, I was asked multiple times if I wanted to purchase add-ons, despite the fact that I was already trying to sort out billing errors that originated with the business. Before my massage, I asked where the restroom was. I was told to go to the end of the hallway and turn left. I ended up standing in front of an exit door, unsure whether opening it would trigger an alarm while massages were in progress. I had to walk all the way back to the front desk to ask again before finally finding the restroom. It seems like such a simple thing, but it added to an already frustrating experience. The massage area itself was calming in appearance, but not in practice. The rooms are separated by large partitions and curtains, making it easy to hear other clients coughing, talking, or reacting to their massages. It felt awkward and lacked the privacy I expect during a massage. To make matters worse, my massage started late at approximately 1:42 p.m. and ended around 2:21 p.m., well short of the full session I had paid for. The massage therapist used an excessive amount of oil, communicated very little, never checked in about pressure, and I had to repeatedly tell her when the pressure was too intense or when she was working on particularly tender areas. Overall, the entire experience felt disorganized and unprofessional. The staff seemed far more focused on selling new memberships and add-ons than resolving issues for customers whose accounts had already been mishandled. I cannot recommend NOW Massage Therapy based on my experience. Between the billing errors, poor communication, confusing check-in process, shortened massage, and lack of professionalism, this was easily a 1-star experience. I asked today to cancel our membership and was told a "note would be placed in the system" but couldn't be provided documentation of proof. Consider the date of this review to be said proof.
