  Was very upset with the fact online it said a shampoo/style was $31 I have shoulder length hair I told him to flat iron it my back was to mirror I didn’t know he was curling it. It was a simple wave no actual girls-my cost was $63 this photo was taken 20 minuted after my appt very disappointed.

  If I could give Gabrielle more than 5 stars, I definitely would! I’ve been trusting her with my hair for about two years now. The very first time I went to her, my hair was completely destroyed and gummy from a bad experience at another salon. She not only brought my hair back to life with an incredible transformation, but she also showed so much empathy and huge heart. She is an exceptionally talented professional and a wonderful person. I recommend her 1000%! Thank you, Gabrielle, for loving what you do so much!

  I have always had excellent service at the Hair Cuttery. This latest visit was excellent as usual. Stephanie did an outstanding job as always and demonstrates the knowledge, professionalism and interpersonal excellence that made it mine and my family’s choice for hair-care services. This particular visit was at the River City Marketplace salon in Jacksonville, FL. However we have received outstanding service and quality at other locations as well. If it says anything on how important the relationships built by the personnel affect business, my daughter has followed her preferred stylist to this location, while my sons’ have their preferred at the Duval Station salon. Thank you Stephanie, Bree (River City Marketplace) and Rodney (Duval Station) for everything you do.

  We have been coming to this salon for at least 3 years. We get someone we like then they leave, so finally my husband got Renee who did great for a while. He gets a "fade" cut, so the last couple times she has just buzzed his hair. She didnt even try to do the fade at all. She does this dry, no shampooing, nothing that is INCLUDED, he skips that. We still pay $32+ $10 tip each time. Last cut, I came in & just took whomever was available. I really liked the girl I got, Jenae. She did great and was very kind and helpful. I also never get my shampoo when I get just a hair cut for all these years so you'd think the simplicity of both my husband and myself would have been recognized & appreciated, right? Well Jenae, being the sweetheart she is & my 1st cut by her, she decided to do a very QUICK blow dry just so I could see how my hair looked. So, Renee had checked my husband out already & thus he paid for us both, leaving tips for both. When Renee saw Jenae blow dry my hair for literally 1 minute, she came over & whispered to her "you shouldn't be doing that, I didnt CHARGE for blow drying". Are you kidding me???? We never get the "included" shampooing, been coming here for over 3 years and you stop her from blow drying my hair afraid you're losing $5? What about all the shampoo you've saved, the times you got paid in full plus tip all these years when we took barely 5-10 minutes of your days by doing easy hair cuts, letting us leave with unfixed hair every time...... Plus I had spent over $200 several times when another hair stylist was there that I allowed to color my hair. She left and I now color it myself. But I was flabbergasted & appalled, you would make a stink over a $5 or $7 hair blow dry!!! Kudos to you Jenae!! I'm sorry doll we will NOT be back! Moving on. I wish you nothing but the best sweetheart! Renee, you should be ASHAMED!

  I am new to the area and needed a quick shampoo and conditioner. I am a stylist but after having surgery I find it difficult to wash and style my hair in one sitting. The stylist on the phone was able to get me in within 15 minutes of my call. I arrived and was checked in immediately. The salon was busy but everyone was friendly. My stylist was April. She greeted me with a smile. She was very nice and polite. My shampoo was amazing and relaxing just what I needed. 10/10 will be returning. Thank you again April and Hair Cuttery
