  Thank you Laura! You made my hair cut experience memorable and I will return to see you! You are very attentive and did a wonderful job with my haircut. Your eye for the detail is fantastic! I want to let everyone know that if you go to this Great Clips!? You gotta ask for Laura. We had a conversation about her daughter whom sings and plays. She is so proud of her daughter. I live in North Carolina and travel alot. This was my first visit to this salon. My next cut will be with Laura! Gracias Laura!!

  I'll start this out with saying that I've gotten haircuts from great clips since I was kid. Was it not the best sometimes? Yeah of course, but today made me rethink my decisions from now on. I went into the store getting a normal haircut like any other person and the stylist I got was a Latin woman who already looked like she didn't want to be there. I did my best to smile and walk over to the seat but even then, still the same unhappy look and demeanor. Before she went to touch my hair, she was confused on what I had in my hair. I explained i had atopical dermatitis and it unfortunately gets worse with my hair being as long as it was (it's why im getting the haircut 😑). She then put on a glove and started to blow dry my hair for almost 3 minutes to get out the flakes. Then came the haircut. It was one of the worst i have gotten from this place. Her attitude and demeanor made me feel unwelcome and by the end of the haircut I just wanted to leave and never come back. The reason for the 3 stars is because they're are still stylists that do a pretty good job there and I wouldn't want them to get hurt by this review. On the other hand, the stylist who i just explained above would of gotten a one star because of that. From now on i will be going to a professional barber to get shaped up since they actually care about their customers.

  I am writing this review after my haircut experience with Destiny and the follow-up conversation with the owner. Destiny gave me a clearly uneven and poorly executed haircut. My hair was cut much shorter than intended, and one side looked noticeably worse than the other. I was almost left with no reasonable way to fix it without cutting everything even shorter. The bigger issue is that someone who clearly did not seem properly trained or capable of delivering a basic haircut was allowed to work on customers. In my opinion, this reflects not only on the employee, but also on the owner’s responsibility and lack of proper quality control. When I complained, the owner suggested “fixing” it by cutting my hair even shorter. That is not a solution when the original problem is that my hair was already cut too short. A haircut affects your appearance, confidence, and daily life. To avoid going through what I experienced and having to walk around for weeks with a bad haircut, I strongly recommend choosing another salon that can actually provide proper care and professional service.

  I had one of the worst haircut experiences of my life with Destiny. The haircut took an extremely long time, and the clippers were used so harshly that my scalp became red and irritated. When I mentioned the discomfort, she blamed it on my body. I am 32 years old and have never experienced anything like this before from a haircut, which made the situation even more frustrating. One of the biggest mistakes was that the front of my hair was cut shorter while the back was left longer. As you can see in the photo, one side of my hair looks almost missing. The result is uneven, embarrassing, and completely unacceptable. I honestly did not know whether to laugh or cry after seeing the result. I strongly do not recommend getting a haircut from Destiny. The business owner should address this situation as soon as possible.

  River City Market Place. Laura did a great job fixing the last cut i received. She is patient and she doesn't rush to get the next person in the chair. She is methodical and kind and I appreciate how she cuts my hair.
