  I have never been let down by this salon! 11/10, the best haircut experience every time. I’ve been coming here on and off for years, and every stylist I’ve worked with has been wonderful. This time I booked with Danny. He’s kind, talented and genuinely passionate about what he does. You can see it in his work and the way he treats his clients. I had such a great time chatting and laughing with him and the stylists in the nearby booths. I can’t remember the other two guys’ names, but they were just as funny and made the experience even better. My haircut turned out beautiful and exactly how I wanted it. I attached a photo of the back because the cut and blowout turned out so pretty. Also the salon has so much personality. It hasn’t been remodeled into the same boring gray aesthetic that seems to be everywhere these days. It’s colorful, cozy, and has that early 2000s vibe which I love. It’s also fun to say you get your hair done at JC Penny

  I've been meaning to write a review for weeks but keep forgetting. I made my appointment for highlights because I didn't know what I needed in order to fix the issue I had. I had used Color Oops at home to remove some red hair dye, and then put an ash blonde over it and the results were HORRENDOUS! The staff at JC Penney salon were very attentive in trying to explain to me what needed to happen to fix it and still remain within my budget. Erika was the one who wound up coloring my hair the most beautiful copper red color and also gave me a treatment to make sure my hair didn't over dry. She saw that I was upset over my hair and was so attentive and sweet and just went above and beyond to make me feel heard, appreciated, and beautiful!!! She has the best personality and explained to me how to care for my hair so that it didn't get damaged even further. Then when I left, the ladies had even gave me a free gift of some leave in conditioner that is amazing!! The shampoo and conditioner they recommended has already helped to repair my hair too. I get so many compliments on the color and am very happy with that and the service Erika gave me! She is just the sweetest and I will definitely be back! Thank you to Erika and the wonderful staff!!!

  Todd Todd the Hair the God! I've been getting men's cuts from Todd for years now and he's definitely a cut above the rest.
