  I have 2C/3A curls and had a wonderful experience with Yumila! I booked an appointment the day before, and was able to share my reference photos and what I hoped for upon arrival. She educated me about my hair health with genuine care in a way that made me feel seen and understood! Mind you, this photo is my hair right after the cut without my extensive curl routine or scrunching. That says a lot! I will be returning the next time I need a refresh! Thank you Yumila!✨

  Yumila did my hair, and she was phenomenal!! She was extremely pleasant and did beautiful layers on my long hair. She does a phenomenal blowout too, I highly recommend her!! This was my first time with her and I’m committed to go back to her now. Y ella habla español, me sentí como en casa con ella ❤️ Gracias Yulima por ser tan buena y por hacerme sentir bella de nuevo, I feel and look beautiful once again!

  I went for hair cut yesterday, this is my second time going there first time I had a great experience so that's the reason for second visit, the stylist who took care of me, did a terrible job, in the entire service duration she didn't even give a smile, very serious looks, and didn't listen to me what I'm trying to say, I feel like this is not good customer service, I feel being polite adds a comfort and positive energy. I asked her to do the layers hair cut by showing her the length, she did way smaller than that length I mentioned, when I said to her are we going too short, with a rude tone she said to me, that's the length you should to me. I was like atleast let's wait for the end result. That is even more terrible, the front layers are very very small and the back layers are decent the gap between those two is terrible 😔, I don't know how someone with almost 13+ years experience make such a hair cut, it's very basic, as there is obvious visible difference between the length of the front hair and back hair, they look like I experimented with my own hair. Anyways I have to pull this hair for atleast 2 months in order to make it better, I had a very bad experience with the hair stylist.

  The person cutting my hair snapped at me so aggressively for no reason, I kind of debated the whole time between leaving or letting her finish. I’m glad I stayed because, credit where is due, the hair cut it self was amazing. Sadly I will never come back. She tried to make nice at the end but was too late. I make sure to tip her and I left. I think I over heard her name was Michelle. P.S. There was another lady working there today with tattoos, she was very sweet to her customers

  Yumi is INCREDIBLE! She was so patient and sweet! To put it in perspective, I showed up the day before school starts, they were super busy, and she made me feel like I was the only person in the salon! She is also a master at her craft, she explained to me why she did each thing she did to my hair and proper techniques to make sure my color lasts at long as possible! I even mentioned in passing that I tend to throw my hair up all the time and when I got home I realized she listened to me and made sure the layers she added allow me to throw my hair up when necessary! Amazing attention to detail! And if I do say so myself, my hair came out absolutely gorgeous! Thank you Yumi 💖
