She was amazing! She paid attention to my needs. She understood the pain that I was experiencing and she went above and beyond to address the issues that I was having. - JKJocelyn KrotecSep 30, 20261.0I was very disappointed in my experience here. I booked a 50 minute massage with the Prenatal enhancement ahead of time since I’m pregnant. Upon arriving, the staff spent 10 minutes trying to upsell additional enhancements for my treatment, as well as had to re-set up the room once the therapist realized I was pregnant. This was fine, however, due to the delay I didn’t get settled into my room and worked on until 9:15, for my 9:00 massage. I looked up at the clock in the room that was down to the second, and my massage ended at exactly 9:49. This experience was almost unbelievable, considering the staff caused the delay and I lost 15 minutes of my massage. The entire massage felt so rushed - cramming in full body in roughly 30 minutes - that it was impossible to relax, which is what prompted me to check the time when it was over. Afterwards, the therapist started flipping the room for the next client, almost hitting me with the door on her way towards the bathroom with all the bedding in her hands because she was rushing around. Afterwards, I kindly expressed my concerns with the front desk, and even said my intention with this is that I think it’s useful feedback. They looked confused and then tried to sell me a monthly membership. I was told the manager would be in contact but never heard from anyone. As someone who’s in their third trimester and just looking for an hour to herself to relax, this was easily the worst $180 I’ve ever spent. I get it’s a new business, but if they focused more on customer care and experience, and less on making more money + fitting in as many appointments as possible, they would’ve had a reoccurring customer.

Pertaining to the message itself … it was just ok. I went in for the 80 min prenatal glow as i have been experiencing lots of tension and muscle aches. I left feeling not wowed & feeling as though it was not worth $200. My masseuse was kind but i don’t feel like much tension was actually relieved. The massage was a little too light for my likeness. I understand with prenatal care that they’re certain precautions but ultimately just didn’t feel worth the price. May try again with a different masseuse I enjoyed the ambiance.

I have a credit transfer as this was gifted to me but if anything needed to be charged of course I am willing to pay they asked for cash payment I brought in cash I also provided my card information. I get checked in I pre signed documents and get asked if I want any additional services to get done mind you it’s an open lobby only 2 women in the front they all see I have a minor with me no one says anything as I am choosing another lady comes and tells me my appointment has to be canceled because I have a minor with me before I can get a word out she then proceeds to tell me she can not watch the minor they can not baby sit there are too many people coming in and out which the place was empty regardless I would never ask anyone to do so I did not get to speak yet. Extremely unprofessional uncalled statement to say. No where online no policy is listed anywhere that a minor can not be with you. I also called and let them know nothing was listed on their policy and the manager started going in speaking over me cutting me off so I indeed did do the same. No other employee was aware of this all of a sudden policy in fact when filling out the link sent after appointment is booked a form for minors is listed and needs a signature for parent permission if a minor wants a service done lol.

I go to the gym regularly, so I tend to carry a lot of soreness and tension throughout my body, and Daniel was able to really work through those areas and provide a lot of relief. You can tell he’s very knowledgeable about the human body and incredibly intuitive with his work. He knew where I needed extra attention without me having to constantly explain it. He also has really strong hands, which was exactly what I was looking for in a massage therapist. I left the table feeling completely recharged, relaxed, and brand new. Definitely one of the best massages I’ve had, and I’ll absolutely be booking with Daniel again!

When should I arrive for my massage?
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled massage to permit ample time for check-in. As a courtesy to other members and guests, we must start and end each massage service at the scheduled time; accordingly, we will not be able to extend the time of your service if you arrive late.
How do I book a massage?
You can schedule an appointment online at www.thenowmassage.com, through The NOW Massage app, or by contacting the boutique directly by phone. We also welcome walk-ins, but due to high demand, we recommend scheduling in advance.
How do I cancel a service that I’ve scheduled?
A booked massage can be canceled by logging into your account on the website, through The NOW Massage app, or by calling the boutique. Please be aware of our late cancellation policy. We respectfully request at least 12 hours notice if you need to cancel or rebook your massage appointment. We charge 50% of the reservation made to the credit card on file to compensate our staff for missed wages when there is a last minute cancellation.
What if I fail to show for a scheduled massage or arrive late?
If you miss your appointment or arrive 15 minutes past your scheduled service start time, the service is automatically canceled and the full price of the scheduled service is charged to the credit card on file. To ensure a relaxing experience, and get the full benefits of the massage, we advise guests to arrive on time (or early) for all scheduled appointments.
How can I cancel my membership?
Ritual Members can cancel their recurring dues membership at any time by providing their boutique with 30-days written notice stating the desire to cancel. You may cancel in-person at the boutique or by sending an email to the boutique where your membership was purchased. All boutique contact information can be found under the locations page on our website.
Note: In states where required by applicable law, in addition to the above, you can also choose to cancel your membership through choosing the cancellation option on your membership profile online.
How long do I have to use massage credits?
Membership credits can accrue indefinitely until a Ritual Membership is canceled. Unused massage credits will continue to accrue (i.e., roll-over month-to-month) as long as your membership remains in place. You will have 3 months from the date of cancellation to use any unused massage credits before they expire. No refunds are issued for unused credits.
Can I freeze my membership?
The freeze policy allows you to temporarily suspend your Ritual Membership in accordance with the following terms: You may freeze your membership up to three(3) months per contractual year. Please see our Terms of Service for more details.
Do you accept gift cards?
Yes, we accept gift cards for The NOW Massage services and products. Gift card terms and conditions do apply. For more details on our gift card program, please refer to our Terms of Service.
Do you permit minors to use services?
Yes, unless the state, province or territory prohibit it by law, The NOW Massage makes services available to minors between the ages of 13 and 17. What if I’m not feeling well?
If you are feeling sick or unwell prior to the start of your scheduled massage, we encourage you to stay home. The NOW Massage boutique is an open-space concept and keeping guests and team members safe is everyone’s responsibility. If you begin to feel sick during your treatment, please let your Massage therapist know immediately.
What is the NOW's policy related to cell phone use at the boutique?
We aim to create a safe and relaxing environment for our members and guests. The tranquility offered within our space is paramount. Cell phones can be disruptive and are not encouraged. Although we do allow cell phones at the boutique, we require that the phones be turned off or switched to silent mode upon check-in.
Can I return purchased items?
Yes, if you’ve purchased items in a boutique, we accept returns in original condition (unused, undamaged and unopened in the original packaging) within seven days from the date of purchase. All items purchased in a boutique are only eligible for return or exchange in the same location it was purchased. Because jewelry is made-to-order, jewelry is eligible for exchange only.
If you’ve purchased items online – through The NOW’s website – we accept returns in original conditions (unused, undamaged and unopened in original packaging) provided you first obtain a return authorization number, which you can request by emailing shop@thenowmassage.com. The return authorization number must be written clearly on the outside of the box. Return and exchange shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility and the original shipping charge is nonrefundable.
