  From the moment I walked in the door, Kayla was so nice and kind. She helped me pick a color for my hair and was very pleasant to talk to. She made me feel are ease the whole time and continued to ask if I needed anything. My hair looks ah-mazing and I’m in love with it. The hair cut itself is great. I love it all.

  16 years. That's how long i remained loyal to the hair cuttery. I'm extremely picky and, in most times, indecisive when it comes to my hair and who is touching it. I took a good amount of time before choosing this location to be my go to. I finally found a place with cozy atmosphere and great customer service. The stylists at this location are amazing and they always made me feel welcome. I would always tip extra and especially so on the times when I needed more time in the chair. I am really saddened and disappointed with the direction this location has gone. ***please note that it probably is all from higher up decisions and at no fault to the staff and management at this location*** It really came down to the changes made to the atmosphere that has me looking for a new place. The browns and cozy feeling are all gone. The front desk is some sterile looking white cube and it feels like I'm walking into a hospital. I'm not comfortable anymore and to me..it's a big deal. I don't like getting my hair cut as is, so finding a cozy place was a must. Please, anyone who loves this location, keep going. They have great people.. especially Kayla. I just won't be going anymore unless I can't find somewhere better suited.. I want to spend my earning on a place that makes me feel good..from enter to exit and then on..

  Every time I go to Hair Cuttery I have a good experience. The staff are attentive and friendly. No matter the stylist, I have always gotten just what I wanted. Very professional, clean and a pleasant atmosphere.

  My wife Olivia is wheelchair bound. Kayla was kind and accommodating. She applied hair coloring and made her comfortable. Kayla did an amazing job with her hair. My wife was very happy and said that she will definitely recommend this salon to her friends and family. Way to go Kayla we will be back!

  They are misleading on their prices. I called and told them it was my fist visit. They said a haircut was $30 and $15 for a blow dry. Well I get there and they are like oh, there is an additional $13 surcharge for your hair because it is below your shoulders. Wow! $28 just for blow dry?! $65 PLUS a tip?! No thank you. This isn't New York, it's Deland. I had to leave with wet hair. I thought a chain salon would be more affordable. On the positive side, I was able to get in quickly and Kayla was very nice.
