  I have been a loyal Hair Cuttery customer for over 15 years, and this was by far the worst salon experience I have ever had. I scheduled an appointment for a base color, highlights, and a haircut. I specifically blocked off my afternoon because I knew it would be a longer appointment. After completing only my base color, my stylist, Maite, told me I didn’t need highlights and suggested I come back in a month instead. This made no sense because the entire purpose of my appointment was to lighten my hair with highlights after the base color. She then declined to perform my haircut as well, leaving me with only one of the three services I had scheduled. During my appointment, she commented that she wished people wouldn’t book long appointments on weekends because they made her less money. That left me with the impression that my appointment had become an inconvenience. To make matters worse, I was charged an additional $36 for a blowout that should have been included with my color package, and my hair was still damp when I left. Although I tipped her, I did so because I always tip service providers, not because I was satisfied with the experience. When I contacted the salon afterward, I was disappointed that management relied solely on the stylist’s version of events. I was told that I had decided against my highlights and haircut myself, which is simply not what happened. If I had not wanted those services, there would have been no reason for the stylist to suggest I schedule another appointment to have them done. This is especially disappointing because I have been a longtime customer. I left having paid for an appointment that was never completed, wasted an entire afternoon, and still needed to find another salon to finish my hair. Unfortunately, after this experience, I won’t be returning

  Haircut was fine But they did not honor the 20$ for new guest deal they have. Will not be back.

  I am so extremely happy with the hair cut style and blow dry that I got from Pilar. I have been looking for a stylist that can do layers and I finally found one in her.

  I made an appointment online with the first available hair stylist at noon for my daughter. We walked right in and my daughter was seen right away. She was washed and the stylist recommended a clarifying shampoo to help with the pool water over the summer. The stylist gave my daughter renewed confidence with her new haircut! She was elated to see the front layers and fresh cut length.

  My experience with Gina today was amazing!!!! I have extremely curly hair and she washed my hair thoroughly and really took the time to properly cut my curly hair. I felt she was attentive to detail, which is a huge plus. Thank you Gina!! (My only con to report is regarding Hair Cuttery's website- the Hair Cuttery website clearly states that if you text a number you get a $20 coupon. However it's a scam- I texted it and never got the coupon sent to me. Hair cuttery needs to remove that from the website as that is false advertising to customers).
