  When I book an appointment I always do first available because I really don't know the ladies in the shop. Today I had the pleasure of Angelica to take care of me. She works at the St. Charles Plaza location. Angelica is very personable and she does a men's haircut the old fashioned way with scissors. If you have the chance book her for your next appointment

  I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Hair Cuttery. I came in for a haircut and blow dry. I was told my total would be higher because of the length of my hair, and I agreed to the price based on that explanation. After leaving, I actually looked at my receipt and saw that I was charged $72 for the Signature Cut with Deluxe Blowout PLUS an additional $13.60 specifically listed as a “Curling/Flat Iron Service.” My hair was NOT curled or flat ironed. When I questioned the charge, I was told that because the price had already been discussed with me, there was nothing they could do. That makes absolutely no sense. I agreed to an additional charge because I was told it was due to the LENGTH of my hair. I was not told I was being charged for a curling/flat iron service that I never received. If my receipt says I paid $13.60 for a curling/flat iron service, then I expect to receive that service. I even left a $10 tip before realizing how the charges were itemized. This isn’t about refusing to pay for long hair or additional work. I have no problem paying for services that are properly explained and actually performed. My issue is being charged for a specific service I did not receive and then being dismissed when I questioned it. Definitely check your receipt carefully before leaving.

  Carolynn (I'm pretty sure that was her name) was absolutely amazing. She was very kind and patient. She did a fantastic job with the haircut and I definitely recommend her, especially to anyone with curlier/wavy hair. I don't remember the name of the other stylist unfortunately but she was also incredible and gave good advice for how to use the diffuser and maintaining my curl pattern. Both my dad and I come here every now and then and every stylist here is so incredibly talented and amazing at what they do.

  I have been going to this establishment for quite a while now and unfortunately I was disappointed today. Sunday I was offered a 50% discount on any service via text. I responded on Tuesday and let them know I want an appointment Thursday. Today I arrived and they took a look at the text and said nothing and I got my haircut. At checkout I was told I’m not getting 50%off because I was supposed to come in the day after I got the text. I informed my stylist that the text didn’t state that even when I texted about my appointment. Then I was told she’s AI. How am I supposed to know that I wasn’t talking to a real person?? This is not about the money. It’s about honoring what you offer. If there is a stipulation you need to state that in the message. Another suggestion, when the text comes through and says “This is Lily at Hair Cuttery…” it makes it seem like it’s a real person. Think about changing that intro. Good evening

  They over charge for their services and I’m not happy with my daughter’s hair. I paid $87 for a children's wash, blow dry, and flat iron for my daughter’s hair to be dry and puffy after being “styled.” I was charged $13 more for my daughter's hair being “thick” and $4 more because only a certain person can do her hair and that stylist cost more. So you’re telling me I’m being charged more because of my daughter’s hair type!? Seems biased to me and unfair for a consumer. This is ridiculous to say the least. I’m very unhappy with the quality of my daughter’s hair and the fact that I have to go behind the stylist to make it look how it should have from the beginning is frustrating. I will not be coming back to this location unless they make this right.
