    i got a haircut today from Mara & i absolutely love it! she did exactly what i was looking for (longer curtain bangs with layers to my long hair). she was very kind, welcoming & understanding of my nerves after not having gotten a professional haircut in a few years. she is very talented & i would definitely recommend her to those wanting a haircut!!

    If I could sue Hair Cuttery for emotional distress, I would. I had an appointment with Millie for a conditioning treatment, haircut, and blow out. Upon arrival, I was told by Millie that she no longer does long hair but that her friend is there and can do my hair. At first, I refused, because I don't know this person and I am very protective of my hair, which I have been growing out for the past 7 years and which is a big part of my identity. But then I thought I'm already there and its just a little trim, so I agreed. BIG MISTAKE! I asked for a trim off the ends, but the stylist literally cut off half the length of my hair!!! About 3 years worth of hair growing gone in 5 minutes. I feel absolutely violated and robbed. Not only that, but my haircut is uneven - with some sparse hairs remaining uncut, too bulky, and trapezoid in shape. I almost cried when I saw how ruthlessly my hair was chopped off. Furthermore, I now must go and fix this mess, which means I'll lose even more of my length. Horribly unprofessional! Millie was also pushing me to get a blow out, but THANK GOD I refused, because my hair would undoubtedly be burned on top of being chewed off. No conditioning treatment was even offered even though I booked it. I have no words to describe how upset and angry I am right now. Neither I, nor any members of my family will ever step foot in any Hair Cuttery salons ever again.
