Natalie and Viola worked together to help us and assisted for us pick the right placements and jewelry with our ears anatomy and best healing in mind! They were patient and very honest and happy to show us as many options as we wanted before making the final decisions. Natalie went out of her way to be sure that the jewelry we were interested in would be there since we were coming from out of town. She also went above and beyond and came in on her day off to see the appointment through. Viola was very honest with what would work best for our anatomy and we so appreciated her expert advice! My friend and I did this together and it was such a fun experience we will remember forever!

I had an appointment, but was told by Kristian my requested stylist (Viola) was running behind. I left to grab food (based on their suggestion) came back, and was told I was next, only to then be told someone was ahead of me after all. I’ve spent a good amount with this brand and was there ready to spend more, including getting an earring cleaned for another piercing. I was told there wasn’t time for that, but I ended up waiting 20 minutes anyway which would have been more than enough time, since I hadn't sat in the chair. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience. The delays and inconsistent communication left a bad impression, and it’s made me hesitant to visit other locations.

Are your earrings sold as singles or pairs?
Maria Tash jewelry is sold as singles unless otherwise stated. To order a pair, please add two of the items to your cart. Our large earrings are the only items we sell in pairs. These items are pictured as a pair and the product description also states that they’re sold as a pair.
What size jewelry works best for me?
Our experience involves you pairing one-on-one with our stylists to completely guide you through your styling and piercing. There are multiple sizes to our jewelry, but our team will make sure that you are properly sized and confident.
What is the difference between a threaded and traditional stud?
Threaded backings use a screw-on/off design that makes the earring stay more securely in the ear. This is our standard style of jewelry. A traditional backing is also available. This is the traditional style of earring where you have a butterfly back that is separate and pushes onto the post to hold the jewelry in place.
Do I need to book an appointment?
Appointments are available for piercings but walk-ins are always welcome. Appointments are not required for fittings and installs or purchasing jewelry.
Can I be pierced with my own jewelry?
Due to sterilization needs, we do not pierce with jewelry that is not Maria Tash. The best selections from our full collection will be available for styling and piercing. Our styles come in white, yellow, rose, and black gold. You're welcome to bring in your existing Maria Tash pieces and consult with a piercer to see if it can be used for an initial piercing.
How many piercings can I get in one session?
We recommend up to four piercings per session, but this is dependent on the piercings you are thinking about and your anatomy. Our stylists and piercers can best consult with you during your visit.
Can I be pierced if I am under 18?
The State of Florida requires a notarized parental consent form before performing any piercing on a minor. If you are under the age of 18, the following form must be completed by your parent or guardian in the presence of a notary and notarized prior to your appointment. Please arrive at MARIA TASH with your parental consent form as well as a valid ID for both you and your legal guardian so we can perform your dream piercing.
Do you pierce with a needle or a piercing gun?
All of our piercings are made with single use sterile needles rather than piercing guns. We do not use piercing guns as they are not very accurate and cannot be properly sterilized.
