  although I appreciate the quickness of braiding my hair, i acknowledged with my braider that i wanted her to use gel on my parts because my hair is soft and she also acknowledged that it was as well. no matter how many times i told her to use a specific gel on my parts because i didn’t want my hair braided with no product she continued to do so anyways. i had my braids in for two months and one came out yesterday with my hair attached to it, the front of my braids also has all of my hair breaking off. she wasn’t gentle with my hair at all!

  I got my hair braided by Vernelle 1st she tried to over charge me for some plain knotless braids then when she was braiding my hair I asked her to make sure she is tucking my hair into the braid she looked at me with a rude look and did not acknowledge what I was saying now ONLY 2 weeks have passed and my braids look a hot mess in the root I’m not sure what kind of braid she was doing because I never had Knowles’s braids where I had to take them out in 2 weeks. Normally I wear my braids up to 6 weeks and it still doesn’t look like this in the root. Not only that my hair was not tucked but she was going to take scissors and cut up the braids for the flyaways I told her no because with the amount of hair that was sticking out of the braid I would of had. Whole new haircut when I took the braids out. I wish I could give 0 stars and it’s ashamed because my mother previously went to Ms Doris there and she did a fabulous job.

  Great braid salon, reasonable pricing and professional atmosphere. Every stylist seems friendly and very talented. They even provide a snack and drink while you are in the chair.

  My 7 year old is tender headed. When Grace and Vanelle does my daughter's hair she never complains of pain. Says they are so gentle with her. The best part about the service is they get her hair done FAST I'm talk 90min or less fast but the quality of hair and style is ALWAYS on point and usually last for a month sometimes longer depending on what styles she gets. The shop is very clean and professional. They even have a beauty supply section as well which is really convenient for those who need to purchase products they'd normally get at a beauty supply store. Overall this shop is a 10 out of 10.
