  This is a really convenient location and have typically loved the staff here too, but in the last few months this location keeps removing products that the staff have recommended to me (that I was sold on and kept buying as main products in my routine!) and it’s been a little frustrating. I went in recently to find some skincare products that I have been using the last few months because of the recs of a staff member (thank you!) and it’s worked great, and yet again found out this store was chosen for removing that product from the store. Corporate is making dumb decisions for this store, but what was especially not helpful was when I found out and noted that the location keeps removing products and before I could ask “what else do you recommend as a replacement” (although it would have been helpful to just offer) the particular person I was talking to rolled their eyes at me and walked away and left me standing there. I like going to Sephora because I’m not really someone who knows everything and also find it helpful that people are informed on what products do X and what products are similar to Y, so between the location constantly removing what absolutely are popular products to many people, and that interaction, it made me doubt if I should keep going to this location…. As I was trying to find a replacement myself, I heard a woman behind me asking for a product and also finding out she couldn’t find it at that location anymore, either.

  The staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about what products would work for my skin. They were hospitable and kind when I walked in the door and Homa helped recommend fantastic products and gave me space afterward to browse for more items after getting what I had initially needed. Highly recommend! It is a smaller location but it's definitely worth it if you prefer a more "boutique" customer service experience.

  I recently visited SEPHORA with my wife, and I must say this was by far the best Sephora experience we’ve had in the United States. We’ve visited multiple Sephora outlets across different cities, and unfortunately, our experience at a New York store was quite disappointing because the staff there was rude and not very helpful when my wife needed guidance on choosing the right cosmetics products. However, this Washington DC store completely changed our perception. The customer service here was absolutely incredible. I would especially like to appreciate Amisha (A-M-I-S-H-A), who was extremely patient, kind, and professional. She spent around 15–20 minutes helping my wife understand different products, answered all her questions in detail, and guided her very thoughtfully. What really stood out was her empathy—when we shared our poor experience in New York, she genuinely apologized on behalf of the brand and assured us that this store always prioritizes customer service. Her patience and dedication truly made our visit memorable. A big 5-star rating to Amisha and this Sephora store for such an amazing customer experience. Highly recommended if you’re shopping in Washington DC.

  Living nearby, my wife and nine-year-old daughter love popping in when we shop at the weekend market at Eastern Market. The moment you walk inside the staff greet you and offer help. The aisles are well organized and clean. Check out is pretty seamless even with a line.
