  If you are going to the F Street Sephora, ask for Kamron! I booked my appointment to have my makeup done before a photoshoot, and I genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, she made me feel completely at ease. She talked me through everything she was doing, from using the skin analysis machine to find my exact shade match to explaining why certain products would work better for my skin. I loved that she did not just put makeup on me, she made it a learning experience. I had an inspiration picture with me, and she really listened to what I wanted. When it came to choosing the right eyeshadow palette, she even asked one of her colleagues for a second opinion because they had more experience with certain shades. That really stood out to me. It showed that getting the best result was more important than pretending to know everything. It was 93°F (34°C) outside, and I was anxious about the makeup staying fresh before our photoshoot. Kamron thought about that before I even had to ask and sprayed my face with setting spray twice to help everything last in the heat. My makeup stayed put beautifully. One of my favourite touches was that she added all the products I loved to my Sephora account, so if I decide to buy them later, I already have the exact list waiting for me. Such a simple idea, but so thoughtful. The hour honestly flew by because we chatted the whole time. It felt more like spending time with someone who genuinely loves what they do than sitting through a makeup appointment. If you are visiting the F Street Sephora, ask for Kamron. She is warm, knowledgeable, and professional. I walked out feeling confident, camera-ready and already hoping she will be available the next time I am in Washington DC.

  Spoke w Anna and asked for Tote Clay foundation. She said the don’t have it and could not recommend anything else.

  You literally could not pay me to go back to this location. Whatever girl was at the register at 1-2P was incredibly rude. Did not ask if I found the item I was looking for and didn’t even bother with a simple “Bye, have a nice day.” No eye contact, nothing. Simply turned around when the transaction was done. There seems to be a long running problem at this particular location with rude staff that has gone uncorrected. Good luck to the unknowing future customers, I’ve had better service at a gas station.

  I had a great make up session with Breanna at the F Street NW location in DC today. This was my first time doing a make up session at Sephora. I asked for a no make up look and Breanna delivered. I love the products she used and never would have accomplished this look on my own. She is a very knowledgeable artist and was kind enough to answer all my questions. I highly recommend Breanna if you are looking to elevate your look!

  I visited the Sephora location on F Street in Washington, DC on June 5, 2026, at approximately 2:30 PM and was disappointed by the level of customer service throughout my visit. Upon entering the store, I was not greeted or acknowledged by any staff. While shopping for products for an upcoming trip, I needed assistance locating skincare and travel-sized items. Two beauty advisors told me they were “too busy” to help, leaving me to find the section on my own. Later, when seeking a concealer shade match, the advisor who eventually assisted me was dismissive and spoke in a manner that felt demeaning and unwelcoming. The checkout experience was particularly concerning. The beauty advisor, Ayana Keys, did not acknowledge customers waiting in line or invite the next guest forward. I also witnessed an uncomfortable interaction in which a customer was told loudly, “Your card declined, I don’t know what to tell you,” which created an awkward situation for everyone nearby. When it was my turn to check out, I was handed the mobile checkout device and instructed to scan my own items while the advisor assisted someone else. Once completed, I was simply told the total, directed to pay, handed my bag, and dismissed without any meaningful customer interaction. While this location appears well-stocked, the service I received fell far below what I have come to expect from Sephora. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing enough that I would hesitate to return or recommend this location to others.
