  Elsa is the best! So funny and warm and always does a great job cutting my hair. She's so professional and knowledgeable, and I leave every time with a fantastic haircut that grows out like a dream! The salon updates are really sleek and beautiful, too. (Photos from April 2026)

  Junior did a phenomenal job with my hair color! I asked for a natural, sun-kissed look, and he delivered 100%. The results are exactly what I wanted. I will definitely be going back to him from now on!

  I’ve been going to Brittany at Bang Salon for a number of years and couldn’t be happier, both because of her expertise at cutting my curly hair and also because she’s a delight to be with. On top of that, the staff at the front desk are unfailingly competent and professional and helpful. I recommend Brittany and Bang without reservation!

  I’m writing this review to inform other potential customers that Bang U Street, as is their right, strictly enforces their cancellation and rescheduling policy. I’m deducting one star for the poor service I received my second time. I’ve gone to Bang U Street twice before for medium female haircuts and had two different stylists. The actual cuts were fine, however I have been disappointed with the customer service. The second time I went, my stylist had forgotten my appointment and had to be called. He was 30 minutes late and complained to me about having to come back in. I did not appreciate his unprofessional behavior and comments and consciously did not book with him again for a cut the third time. I had an appointment for a medium to long haircut (no color or treatments, one hour) scheduled for 5:15 today and was going to be late. When I realized the time, I called at 5:17 saying I would be there by 5:30 but that I totally understood if my stylist couldn’t fit me in and if not, if I could reschedule. The receptionist checked with the stylist and told me that she couldn’t fit me in today at all (no option for a shortened appointment, maybe because this was my first time with this stylist) and if I wanted to reschedule, I would still be charged the fee, which is 100% for same day cancellations. I do not begrudge the stylist for making her living. I understand that she doesn’t get paid if I don’t show up, which causes her to lose money. I am just sharing this review because I was not given a grace period for late arrival and I do not want others to make the same mistake. The late arrival policy says: “Late arrivals may result in reduced service time so we can remain on schedule for our next guest. Depending on the service and provider availability, your appointment may be: Shortened Rescheduled Subject to a late arrival fee of up to 50% or the full service charge, at the provider’s discretion” There was no reason for me to reschedule with the same stylist, or anyone, because I was going to be charged 100% to reschedule anyway. I will also note that this stylist has 19 open appointments for tomorrow. If I rescheduled for tomorrow, I would be charged 100% today and 100% tomorrow, plus tip. Because I do not think this is a fair policy and the policy seems extremely discretionary, I will not be returning to Bang U Street and I do not recommend you go there either. The policy is so broad and discretionary that you could be one minute late and be charged a 100% late arrival fee, plus the cost of your appointment. Maybe this wouldn’t happen, but I will not be taking the chance again. Edit to address business’s response: my last appointment was in October, not last July, so yes, awhile ago, not that it really should matter because there isn’t a time frame for leaving reviews and I was commenting on my entire experience at Bang. I intentionally didn’t name the stylist because it was a while ago, although he is still at Bang. Like I said, haircut was fine, customer service was not.
