  Tyler is fantastic. I’m so glad I found her and wish there was something higher than a 5. She took the time to talk to me about my textured hair and explain why she did and recommended things to help me care for it.

  I love Bang Salon. I've been going here for 10 years now, about half of that time with Elsa after a previous stylist left. Elsa's an amazing hair stylist full of energy who's also just incredibly warm, thoughtful, and fun to be around. After years of dyeing my hair various colors (I've settled mostly on purple-pink and purple-blue alternated), Elsa sold me on balayage, which is a much healthier process for your hair than the traditional method of bleaching it and although it's more time-consuming, it also lasts much longer so the maintenance of being a purple-haired weirdo is much less of a hassle. In between haircut appointments Elsa dyes my hair via balayage only about 2-3 times a year and I'm able to keep it vibrantly purple/blue/whatever by recoloring it at home (sans bleach!) about 1x a month. Regardless of whether you're into all of that--Elsa is such a sweet, caring person who's incredibly talented at what she does. I've gone through many phases of life since knowing her, including when I was younger and still had major social anxiety specifically around getting my hair cut in public (it's more common than you might think), and she always made me feel welcome. She's the first hair stylist whose approach played a huge role in me not having those same anxieties anymore. Anyway--all the love for Bang Salon, especially Elsa but also their front desk staff who are also super friendly and chill! <3

  Kaylee was thoughtful and collaborative throughout the entire process, checking in with me at every step to make sure I was happy with my hairstyle. I really appreciated her attention to detail and communication! I’ll definitely be back next time for a full highlight!! Thank you Kaylee!!:)
