  I had Jasmin as my stylist and she is absolutely wonderful!!! She did exactly what I asked and explained what she was doing through the whole process. She is not only a fabulous stylist but also person. I got a better haircut than I have from places that charged me $50 or more. She talked with me the whole time and let me blab through the whole thing. She was so sweet and I look forward to going back!

  I had a very disappointing experience at Great Clips in West Hartford. The stylist seemed inexperienced and was quite rude. I had to repeat myself multiple times, as she didn’t appear attentive or engaged. She was not friendly at all, and given her behavior, expecting a tip felt completely unacceptable.

  This is by far the worst place for haircuts and the staff is horrible. I’ve never had such a terrible experience in a hair salon, for my 6yo and myself!…Nicole has 0 customers service skills and no skills with children, and is the worst lier: she told us they don’t wash hair or style hair because this place is very busy and there are only 2 workers and they don’t have time for these services, although I specifically told her it is advertised online that they do have them listed on their website as current services they offer, not “just haircuts”. This lady - Nicole had the audacity to say she never said she can’t wash my daughter’s hair, that she said she can’t style it and then cowardly blamed it on me not understanding what she is saying, basically bashing my accent and the fact that English is my second language. I’m sure I can speak and write in English at academic level, not so sure about her. After she “butchered” my daughter’s hair trying to detangle it with a brush that is definitely not specifically designed for detangling, and making weird faces because my daughter was moving a lot because the “hairstylist” was hurting her with that hairbrush. Again, after she refused to wash her hair and stated that they don’t have time to blow dry. It was, in fact my fault for not listening to my instinct to leave immediately when I heard her saying she can’t wash hair (for both of us), as I initially told Nicole, but then changed ny mind, as she told me she could try to make it work for the little one’s haircut with a good detangling. I decidd to pay full price for a haircut my daughter never got, so they basically got paid for detangling less than 1/2 of her hair. * I also explained to this lady that my child has problems with her hair getting very tangled every day, hence why she needed a haircut, and added the fact that her hair is affected by antibiotics, which make it more tangled. Nicole had a bad attitude the whole time. I will never walk here again and advise all my friends not to go there due to incredibly unprofessional and rude staff.
