    I’ve been to this Sephora location a couple times before, and I’ve noticed a pattern of some employees following me around and asking if I need help several times in the span of a 15 minute shopping trip. I usually go to the Norwalk location, and have always been treated with respect and care. I am very disappointed in my experience today. I felt very uncomfortable, like I was being watched consistently. In one particular instance, the same employee asked me 3 times if I needed any help in the SAME aisle. After politely declining, she would do a lap around the aisle, and return. I would go to the fragrance section, and so would she. I would look at the hair care section, and again, there she is peeking through, breaking eye contact once I notice her presence. Everytime I saw her I smiled and continued on with my shopping. After about 30 minutes of this, I hear her on a walkie talking device describing what sounded like me. “She’s wearing eyeglasses, a green shirt, with her hair pulled up”. Nonetheless, I ignored it and kept browsing. After making my selections, I proceeded to go to the cashier and pay for my $250 bag of items. And there she was, standing behind the cashiers. Not ringing people up, but silently standing to the side. The whole time, she was following me through the aisles, when it came time for me to checkout, she was suddenly behind the register looking around. I understand that it is their job to provide guidance and assistance when it comes to products. But in this case, I found it inappropriate that I was bothered by this woman my whole entire shopping trip. I’m not sure if it’s because of my age or what I wore, but it’s unacceptable to treat a customer this way, especially one who has been a Sephora member for years. I wasn’t wearing a hoodie, I wasn’t wearing a hat, I wasn’t using a big bag. I came in with a smile on my face, looking through each aisle excited to treat myself. I really hope this location takes feedback like this into consideration, because not only will you be loosing customers, but you will hurt them as well. When shopping, I’m hoping to have a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case here today.

    Hi I just wanted to give a shoutout to Jenny who helped me this past week. She was so kind and sweet. I had come in to grab a skincare product I was out of and also to try a new foundation. My acne has been really bad this past month and there was not one moment where I felt judged or felt like the flaws in my skin were the focus. She color matched me and gave me some samples and then gave me a wonderful recommendation on an under eye cream that I immediately purchased after testing it at home. Thank you Jenny for your kindness and patience 🩷
