  If I could give zero….stars, I would. DO NOT RECOMMEND I am incredibly disappointed, sad, and deeply humiliated by the way I was treated at this salon. Getting a haircut every 8 weeks has been a consistent part of my routine for the last ten years, and I have never experienced anything this disrespectful.I had a booked appointment with Sarah and arrived exactly on time. However, Sarah told me that her next client had arrived early, so she could not take me. Instead, she handed me off to a young stylist - Elsa who had just graduated. I was hesitant, but Sarah assured me she was amazing. Unfortunately, she was very rude. Firstly, lady, you are just starting your career, so this attitude won’t get you anywhere. Learn to be polite and honest. It was immediately clear that she was completely inexperienced—she didn’t even know how to part hair correctly and held the scissors awkwardly. I explained everything clearly and asked for blended layers, but watching her cut my hair was making my anxiety spike. When I asked if she was finished, she said yes, except for the bangs.At that point, I panicked and asked for someone to come over and check the cut. Another employee came over and pulled my hair so tightly that it physically hurt. That was the final straw. I sat up and stated that I would just pay for the full service and leave.When I got to the counter to pay, a short white lady was incredibly rude to me, telling me to just "go." I kept my calm and told her there was no reason to be rude—I was still willing to pay for the full service that I had booked. No resolution, no attempt to de-escalate the situation from anyone in the salon. Because it was late afternoon, I had no other options, so I had to walk out of the salon with soaking wet hair, looking and feeling terrible.When I got home and blow-dried it myself, I saw that the cut was completely uneven and she had literally done nothing right.What hurts the most is that I have been a great customer here in the past. I previously got full hair highlights done at this location. Even though that specific service wasn't finished on time and they never gave me my blowout, I still left a very handsome, generous tip because I understand people are learning and I never want to demotivate anyone. On this visit, I simply inquired politely if I could use that missing blow-dry service, and I was met with complete hostility from this white lady.I have never felt so humiliated in front of other people in my life. I remained calm and respectful throughout this entire ordeal, but the customer service here is unacceptable. Please, save yourself the trouble—there are plenty of other salons in the city with the right customer service. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

  I have very thin hair after having chemo in 2020. Kilian knows exactly how to cut my hair so it looks the fullest, she is an excellent stylist.

  Killian is amazing! She is the ONLY one in years to get my cut the way I like. She highlighted my daughter's hair today 3 different colors and it took about 6 hours. Patience of a saint! Highly recommend.

  JCPenney is offering a haircut promotion for kids. Do not go. Over the phone, they assured me that they booked my son with their only qualified kids’ haircutter. When I arrived, Killian quickly demonstrated her lack of confidence and competence with my six-year-old’s haircut, a simple one at that. I am so disappointed in JCPenney. Killian should not be let near a trimmer. Now, he looks like a football. Do not fall into the trap of their promotion. The salon employees are unqualified and unrepentant.

  I came in and saw the Christina and she is a wonderful hair stylist! She is gentle with your hair and takes her time making sure you are happy with the results. I needed a wash and trim as my hair was starting to get unhealthy again. She did that and talked me through coming up with a better hair routine. She also gives good suggestions and recommended the best hair products that work for my hair that I put chased at the salon. The products work really well and now I don’t have to worry about damaging my hair trying to find a good product. I’m excited to continue my hair journey with her. The salon also has a good atmosphere and I could tell the other clients were happy with the other stylist they were working with. Everyone is friendly at this location.
