- ZLZee Lyn1 day ago4.0I work in the mall, so every time I’m coming into work or leaving for the day, I end up walking past the Aveda store. There’s a short, older woman with gray hair who seems to constantly hit her vape on the sales floor whenever she’s working alone. I’ve also noticed times when she appears to be nodding off, which is concerning and unprofessional, although I can’t say what might be causing it. Regardless of the reason, vaping on the sales floor and appearing to struggle to stay alert while working are not appropriate behaviors in a beauty retail environment. Customers deserve a clean, welcoming atmosphere and employees who are attentive and professional. If she can’t refrain from vaping throughout a shift or remain alert while working, perhaps a customer-facing retail position isn’t the right fit for her at the moment. She should either seek support if she’s struggling with something or consider a work environment better suited to her current circumstances. As someone who works in the mall and regularly walks past the store, seeing this repeatedly is disappointing and reflects poorly on the professionalism of the business and our mall this isn’t Buckland.

Her sales approach is extremely pushy, and she often talks over both customers and associates in a condescending manner. The atmosphere in the store feels noticeably more tense when she is working. I have had much better experiences with the other employees, who are friendly, respectful, and genuinely helpful. I now prefer to shop only when Bee is not working because the customer service is significantly better.

I was so psyched to discover that I can call this store directly and they will ship the product to my house the next day! They also included a really nice headband in my order. I didn't even know they made these. It's super comfy and well constructed. The staff there is always super helpful.
